Simply beautiful. Friendship, respect, dignity, talent and joy. All the things missing from society today.

Check out "The Feather" from Gerald's album "The Golden Sword". That performance stuck in my mind when I first heard (about 1970) and immediately came to mind as I started to watch this interview. I found it on RU-vid. It's one of those riffs that goes through your head all day.

When a couple of great veterans get together and reminisce, it's just priceless! As always, Monk, thank you. I should also mention that your recent Covid interviews are of great importance to the music, and in capturing a significant moment in world history.

Thanks so much for your comment. This was one of my favorite sessions, listening to these long time friends talking about "the old days", comparing bands they both played in ...heaven! Monk
