ill try tomorrow....its dark, freezing and im pissed off. Brand new Arian 1700 bucks. First snow blow early in storm today worked great although loud backfire when test started it yesterday., didnt backfire today when i did driveway...now wont fire at all.. ....now its a damn backyard ornament. either i flooded the shit out of it priming it or didnt cover hole.

Thanks for watching, you can ask your local stations if they have any (non-ethanol fuel). They will guide you directly to the non-ethanol Recreational fuel. Keep us posted. 👍☕️
I mean, this is good if you’re trying to just learn how to start your snowblower, but it’s not helping if you’re having trouble starting your snowblower The point is you’re doing what you’re supposed to do to start it but it still won’t start why??

yes it does and it didn't help. I did finally get it started messing around with it trying different things, wiggling the spark plug connection and it started, Not sure exactly what I did to get it to finally start. Maybe it just needs a tune up i don't know @@DIYwithMichaelBorders
@@mackinnonremodeling We appreciate the follow up. A tuneup is recommended. A brand new plug and wire/boot could make all the difference since it started when fiddling with those parts.
I always struggle with figuring out how much oil to put. No matter how many times I wipe the dip stick and check it, I can't tell how much oil I put in. Fresh oil is clear and the stick tend to grab oil from the side of the oil pipe. I rely looking inside the tank which is not a good way to do it. Any tips on that?
Remove as much as poasible and then put the new oil ans let it go all the way in the machine. Usually, the good one with the small amonth with the old one (not a big deal). You check how much does your blow need and do that. Or once u fuel up. And to few hours or check back tmr. Usually. U will see more clearly the fuel.
1:04 I mean yeah anyone who has ever started anything with those primers should of kind of realized that the only way fuel gets sucked up is if you block the flow of outside air creating a vacuum which sucks the gas, Partially covered works as well but to get the specific amount of gas needed requires the full blockage. Idk Maybe im just a special case since i grew up tearing things apart since there was no internet or any of that, until i was a teenager. I have a older snowblower i checked for the longest time to find the gas shutoff but ive never seen one, is there ones without do you know? Im just making sure. Whats recreational fuel? Things like adding stabil to it? or is it a specific number at the pump?
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts, we appreciate all helpful inputs. Recreation fuel is a non-ethanol fuel and is very clean for your engines that are not your vehicle. Examples would be boat engines, Jet Ski engines, snowblower engines, lawnmower engines, and 2-stroke engines like the ones in leaf blowers and string-trimmers. It doesn’t deteriorate and contaminate itself over time like regular gas does and because of this…it’s a huge benefit having it inside your engine and fuel tank while the machine is being stored for long-term. Not all gas stations have Recreational/Non-ethanol fuel however, for those that do… It will be at a pump. Some gas stations have the pumps located in a separate spot on property. 😎👍🧰
@@DIYwithMichaelBorders I see, I guess that would be why, i don't have anything like that around me. Everyone I've ever seen just put things like Stabil or another gas stabilizer in it. I'll have to pay attention next time i go into a bigger city.
