Snowbreak Devs are HUGE for actually sticking their guns! Love that they're actually not bending the knee to the small slice that want the game to be safe and do what THEY want rather than the players that have been enjoying the devs' original vision. All for the fanservice, even if I don't tend to play for very long per session I log in.
change is part of life, you cant expect a game to exactly the same forever. You may not like what the game became, but most of the player do, so the devs will keep hearing to the majority of players. Yeah, it sucks, It happened to me many times, where a product changes and it no longer fits my taste, but if most consumers like the new direction, sadly, theres nothing i can do other than adapt to the change or move on. and to those saying "ew fanservie and coomers", welcome to anime media. Sadly not everything can fit your tastes perfectly. Adapt to it or move on.
I like that they pointed out the tourists, these people who want to change a game's clear orientation by asking more males, more lgbt or less sexy girls. In BD2 there are some of these who say that they are not against lewd but want more males and full armored girls while the devs orientation since some time is very obvious.
Great to see a dev that understands who their real audience is, and not constantly turn its back on them to cater to anyone who glances in their direction.
im glad they are now giving fan service to the community, i unninstalled the game after the 1st summer i dont know if there was a 2nd, but i was wating for good quality fan service and it wasnt there and i was tired of waiting, but im glad now they are focusing on whats important, i dont know if i want to revive my account, i would need to see amazing "assets", but we will see, but im glad for the game, hopefully it will have a very good revenue on their 1st anni.
Snowbreak is definitely growing fast. You don't even have to take their word for it. If you do some Gigalink, just watch how many players you'll encounter that have an exp level lower than 50. You also see it in the in-game chat which has become rather lively.
To be clarify what real type " Fanservice" snowbreak heading its more than you think Fanservice is just all about Sexy outfits and interaction. Snowbreak fanservice also heading toward importance of you *Adjutant* players , every story surround about you and you feel that you Are the Part of the game , you feel immersed in the fiction you enjoyed . I love it , a lot of past gacha game create same fanservice but was never canon or just event exclusive story , the feels just like to cope with not satisfy long enough ( yes im looking at you Hxxxxx game 😏)
All the people crying about how they destroyed the game with fan service.. lmao. There would be no game, as Jetxc mentioned, if they kept it as it was originally. Those the appreciate the game in the current direction out number those that don't considerably in the gacha space. Maybe Mihoyo will make a vanilla shooter for those that want tame gaming. Otherwise fan service on some level is always going to be likely in the world of gachas.
I'm glad you're still covering Snobble :D As for the support and audience stuff, personally and after discussing a lot with english players, we liked the game before but this new direction is what everyone wanted from the start.
Finally some developers that understand how economics works, you have to actually cater to what their audience wants so they can continue to make the game.
They are doing the right thing Even though I'm not into all types of fanservice, I still enjoy Snowbreak a lot. And the Dorm system is my favorite feature in the game
Dude, for a while I have been passing over your videos on my feed about Snowbreak because I thought you would be yet another whining CC complaining about the fanservice or lack of little girl characters like that Ren guy did and quit lol. Now I understand that you are with the spirit of the new direction of SB.
lol, I literally came to this game during the haru patch cause i saw a glimpse of the direction, ever since then i have documented vids about them moving to a fan service route. Trust me bro im not even close to complaining like other CC, or older players, im here for the new direction, i love it
Nikke it's different. They baited at the release with the hope of a very sexy game, especially with Volume, then went globaly very tame for 1.5 years. It's only when their revenues fell from 20M usually, to 10M, that they fell forced to add at last sexy stuff with the bunnies and summer event. They don't offer fanservice to please players, but for their own financial interest, unlike BD2 and now Snowbreak.
@@velhesvalden1309yeah thanks for pointing that out as a long time Nikke player the game is WAY tamer than it pretends it is. Covered characters, censored characters, toned down bond stories, and just in general lack of fanservice. I hope Nikke is forced to compete with snowbreak and other games the competition would be good for us players if it forces them to do better everyone wins! I should clarify tho I still do like the core of Nikke It's pretty fun and doesn't take a ton of time and the story is good I like the characters but shift up havnt done us any fanservice favors in awhile unless we force them to. For sure the bunny event was a step in the right direction and summer is looking mostly decent but I'll be expecting better from them going forward. I think shift up got to big and thought they could do whatever they wanted rather than appealing to their players. glad snowbreak is unapologetically lewd and let's us have the romance with the characters because even brown dust 2 doesn't do that.
@@brendonbewersdorf986 Nikke is sadly not on Azur Lane level regards fanservice. They know exactly what they are doing and i would actually love to play the game but it burns you out so much that it is a 2nd job basically. I just wish more games would become as bold.
@@octapusxft well it wouldn't kill them to give the players of the game more of what they want though right? A little extra fanservice doesn't take away from the games admittedly good story (I love it and want to see what happens to Marian). The problem is shift up doesn't actually give us what we want unless we hit them in the wallet which sucks because they could have a good relationship with their players like they used to but lately they have been pretending they are genshin impact for some reason and not listening until revenue went down then they HAD to ask the players what they wanted to see in the game
Also in china especially it's not just the fanservice that's important but especially the bond with the mc. Snowbreak basically stole the GFL2 audience because that game got into trouble by disrespecting the main character and by extension the playerbase.
Their new direction definitely got me coming back and staying this time. Honestly found the gameplay pretty boring when the game came out. I'm looking forward to what they are doing now
