this song is way too epic

Remember listening this on "Epic" ending when I was a kid and it felt so magical. Now I'm seeking my childhood back and this song is the closest thing of a time travel machine that I have, but the only thing that travels is my mind and feelings. I don't know how to explain but being able to feel this is so amazing and precious, that movie was one of my favourites and it makes me so happy.

I just listened to this song again for the first time in over 15 years and i cannot even begin to describe the picture perfect nostalgia of me riding along in my dad's 1991 Jeep cherokee when he first introduced me to this song, it's as if I'm remembering an entire chapter of my life that I've forgotten

I saw and heard this masterpiece at a concert in my home town. I stood motionless for sixteen minutes. This first part moves me like no other piece of music. I love it.

This song was featured in the trailer to the movie "Act of Valor" and every time I hear it I have the mental image of that movie... It really works well that way in my mind... It's really too bad that the only music "permitted" by GEMA are often limited versions or karaoki versions of these songs... So the actual music video of "The Lighting Strike" on the official RU-vid Chanel for the Snow Patrol is blocked by GEMA because Snow Patrol hasn't licensed themselves to make their own music available in Germany through the "performance rights organisation" GEMA. All Snow Patrol would have to do is pay GEMA to license Snow Patrol to play Snow Patrol's music... And it's all to protect Snow Patrol from people that want to use their work to make money without having anything to do with their actual music... Like GEMA... This is why 61% of the music on RU-vid is not available in Germany...

The BBC used this song ‘advertising’ Wimbledon with a short video of Andy Murray playing years ago. Completely blown away by that clip and then the entire song thereafter. A magnificent piece of music. Great band in concert.
