The mountain air plays tricks on the mind perhaps. Also being out on the trails in the wide open one sometimes forgets they’re back in town, just my thoughts.
Wow, 80000 people got a tourist view of the beauties of Yellowstone in winter. Andrew and his fellow riders did a great job of showing off. Drone work was vintage Andrew and of course there had to be a breakdown. The snow sculptured trees were something I had new seen before in such great panoramas. Thanks Andrew for taking us along.
ANDREW, it seems so weird without Cody and Blue not chasing your snowmobile everywhere. Glad you got away and had some fun. I’m sure the Dogs was happy to see you come back home. Awesome 👏 video.
Awesome. In 1999 I spent 10 days in West Yellowstone snowmobiling thru Yellowstone NP and the Two Top mountains area. Looks about the same, beautiful scenery.. Thanks for showing this.
For those curious. This is in West Yellowstone. It can be quite the tourist trap in the summer as it is a main entrance to Yellowstone park. Winter time has tons of activity if you are willing and somewhat brave, its not unheard of to get stuck in the town because of snow fall.
It's quite the tourist trap in the winter too. I spent many weekends in the area. My brother and I had a cabin about 3 miles from the lake he was riding on there towards the end.
I was here one year before Christmas. When you go way off in the back there is no sleds at all. It seems a lot of people didn't go to far from town. It was also an extremely snowy day when I was riding. The rental place asked about 5 times if I actually wanted to go out riding that day.
Another awesome video! Ty for taking the time to do all this filming/editing all these years! Crazy how little air there is when you get up in that 7-10k range. I rented a cabin that was around 9500ft and it took us all about 2 days to feel like we could walk around normally without getting out of breath. After a week we were good to go but it is a shock initially if you are like me and come from about 10ft above sea level to nearly 10k there is defintely and adjustment period
these are some of the best shots you've ever put together. i cannot believe what scenery there is in those mountains. i now want to go there more than anywhere else in the world!
One of your best videos ever! It was amazing riding along with a talented and skilled rider, brought back many memories. Your buddies are so lucky to have your adventure documented. Keep up the great work!
Wow! What a great, getaway Andrew! All the snow mobiling you can enjoy! I hope the heck you know where you are going!😉! Very neat! Enjoy! Thanks for sharing!Whatch out, for squatch!Terrific filming! What a beautiful, winter, wonderland!👌Top of the world! You drone , video is epic!
Absolutely gorgeous scenery! Snowmobiles are the only toy I have never had the chance to ride yet, and this video makes me really want to experience it. 91 MPH is impressive. Even with all the fancy gear I can't figure out how everyone stays warm.
@@Hard_Right I would say it's more fun to drive in deep snow then to drive fast. but if you only have a few inches and the trail machines what can you do
Thank you Andrew for taking me/us along for the ride. It was exhilarating. You had all that virgin snow to play on. Just magic. I've never seen such deep snow. Thanks again. Xx
Try living in the UK, I've never ridden a Snowmobile at all! This looks awesome, it's definitely a bucket list thing. I hate people though, and it doesn't look like it would be as fun on your own! lol.
Yes you definitely show the vastness of that mountain range or should I say several mountains very beautiful Andrew thank you so much for bringing us along totally awesome video😊❤
Definitely a pretty sweet place! I was born and raised in West Yellowstone. Really cool seeing town from an outsiders point of view. I’m a firefighter but work part time still as a mechanic at the snowmobile rental shop across the street from Polaris lol
Andrew.... All around awesome video... Scenery... Audio... Editing... Filming...What a wonderful hour or so of wishing I was young again... Naw, I wouldn't change a thing... Thanks for the video... Dave
I was just in Big Sky for a ski trip for 10 days at the end of January... we got dumped on.. so much good snow. Went into West Yellowstone and ate at The Buffalo Bar.. Amazing buffalo burger and beers. Wish I could have done some snowmobiling or gotten a snow-cat tour even. Would have made the trip to have bumped into you haha. Hope all is well man and thanks for all the great videos!
Andrew living the dream, happy for you ! That scene at 29 minutes looked like a alien lunar landscape, awsome. Note to self: don't buy any used machines from Bozeman , Montana !
Love it when you and Chris do videos like this. Always good to take a break from the norm. Can't wait to see his side of this trip. I was hoping for a drone fight between u 2 😂
Hello Andrew, I loved your aerial view shots of the wonderful winter land in Montana. Looks like all you guys had a ball playing in the deep snow. I have a trip planned to Montana later this year. I’m kind of hoping not to see very much snow.
As you always do, beautiful video and editing!! Looks like a fun group to ride with. Only wish Sam was still around to share with you. Oh, well, life happens.
thanks for the memories.... i'm from the other side of Yellowstone, Cody, Wyoming. I'm now a quad from a rollover sixteen years ago. I sure miss the mountains.
Wow. Awesome trip and awesome footage. Took a trip to Jackson's Hole 20 plus years ago. It was a blast and looks like you guys had fun as well. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing video Andrew, thanks for sharing. Definitely a young man's game now. I would have a heart attack the first time getting stuck up a hill. I raced snowmobiles in West Yellowstone over 50 years ago. Had a modified 10 horse skidoo, with bogey wheels, the slide system works wasn't invented yet.
WOW! I'm glad I watched this on the big sreen, great camera work, especially on the "Top of the World". Now I know why they call it Big Sky Country! Thank you Andrew! What a treat.
I rode outside of Jackson hole in '06 and this is even better than that. The mountains are one enormous playground! The guides out there put on a show all day. this brings me back.
A year ago, I had made a comment praising a lengthy 1 1/2 hour video of yours. I stated that it was likened a 70’s WARREN MILLER ski film. I see that you’re back at work again, truly living it, with some traditional exploits of 70’s Hotdogging, wild!
Yep, this has been the oddest year. I think I've seen only 1/4" of snow so far. As the guy responsible for clearing it from my place I'm not complaining 🙂Today I saw the farmer spreading fertilizer on the field behind my house. I guess he's figured winter is over.
Here in Maryland we never really had a winter. No snow, and maybe 6-7 days of actual cold weather. Plants are blossoming 3 weeks early. Thursday it's forecast to be nearly 80 degrees, which is more than 30 degrees warmer than normal, and would be a nice day in June. I really hope it's not 30 degrees above average this summer.
I spent a bunch of money on a snowblower for the first time in my life. You're welcome. Luck would never let me spend that much money on a tool and then actually NEED to use it...
"The eruption of Tonga's underwater volcano in 2022 may cause global temperatures to rise, raising the risk that at least one year in the next five will temporarily exceed the 1.5C warming threshold, new research finds" The biggest volcanic eruption in over 150yrs increased the amount of water in the stratosphere by 5-10%. It explains much of the weird weather we've had globally since.
That looks like Boseman Montana area. You were riding just a few hours south of where I live in Canada. Nice to see that you got some good snow conditions and some powder to ride. Great video. Polaris is King in the USA. Skidoo is King in Canada. Next time give the Skidoo Summit a try. Both are great machines.
Well ill be damned...never thought id see the day that Andrew travels somewhere. Im surprised......you would think he would want to go some place different like tropical, but no he chooses to go to another snowy state😅😅
That’s pretty cool! I live in Montana In Bozeman so that’s cool to know that you were here. It’s funny to see the place where you live on camera. Especially because Montana/Bozeman isn’t that featured in videos"
Awesome to say the least! Thanks for taking us along Andrew! For a minute there when you guys came across that pickup truck stuck in the snow sideways, I thought, "Andrew and Chris are about to do a "will it start with minimal tools" video on that truck" especially after you asked if it had keys in it. Of course, given you two it would feature "donuts in the snow" after you got it running.
The one guy worried about a windshield and a Aarm, hold on, hold me beer, we need to fix a sled now 🤭 Andrew buys at auction and fixes it for a video while on vacation 😀
Beautiful snow-covered mountains of Montana, I'm not living, I realize this when I see these types of videos. We all need to get out and about and simply enjoy life for the simplicity it can be.
