When adding tension to the barrel, best results are achieved when Loosening The top brace underneath the scope rail Add tension to the barrel and then Tighten up top brace Reinstall scope rail. Helps keep the chassis lined up with the barrel.
Maybe this will help you make your decision. 22 wider range of Ammunition without modifications 25 more narrow ammunition selection With My. 25 I was able to get almost 90 shots with the 26.8 grain nsa at 890.
Hey man great video! Mine just got here in 22 caliber and I'm just starting to work on it. What size carbon fiber bottle did you go with on your setup? Is it a 700, or 500 cc? I'm only getting 45 shots on the factory bottle and i think it should be getting around 60. Im shooting at 895 fps by the way. Thank you very much!

Compared to the FX impact Mark 3 700 mm Barrel 25 caliber the FX is putting out around 89 FPE but as far as I understand that the snow peak does not have as much energy. Is this correct if so why? I hear some people are modifying it
@surreallife777 Generally speaking, the longer the barrel, the more energy a rifle can produce. It depends on what you're using your rifle for do you want to carry around 700 mm or 600 mm? It depends on what you're using your gun for 80 foot-pounds of energy is a lot of energy for pesting in general. I have some new products coming out for the snow peak/ umerax. Slug power valve a lot more energy.
@paulsurbanhunter2457 Airguns guns are complicated. I could be wrong but one of the things that attracted me to FX the high shot count and high FPE. Comparing the FX impact to the snow peak someone said that there's some kind of internal difference between the FX and the snow peak that's why the FX has more FPE all things being equal. Do you agree? Some guns are more efficient with air transfer and have a higher shot count.
@@paulsurbanhunter2457 do you think 70 FPE is the maximum you're going to get from the snow peak? It's so pretty good but not close to the FX Impact at 89 FPE 25 cal.
Hi, I've been watching your videos about the Snowpeak m60, it's in .22 but no matter what I do I can't get it past 820fps on a 25-grain.217, and the regulator is set to 150 bar. I thought you must have an idea because you said in one of your videos that you got up to 50 Foot-pound of energy, Mine is stuck and around 33 ft-lb. I bought this gun about 2 months ago and don't want to open up the holes by drilling it, I would be happy if i could get it to like 50 Foot-pound of energy. Thanks for the helpful videos.
The only possibilities that come to mind are too much Hammer Spring or not enough hammer, Spring. Possible incorrect hammer Spring length. Possible incorrect reg Gauge. Possible cut or missing o-ring cover action with tissue and fire rifle.
