This time we have two of the most capable trucks of this game, Azov 64131 and Azov 5319 both of them are based on real life Kamaz, Let's see which is the best 8x8 truck among them #Snowrunner
@@xflashu8075 I'm a pretty good sim racer and have an expensive wheel for my computer but getting above 30km/hr in SnowRunner is how you get a puncture
For fuel efficiency, I think maybe you can make a new test, same load, same road, how many percentage of full fuel tank consumed. For example, truck A have 300L tank, average drain is 8L/min, finished the test in 15 min, 150L,50%, truck B have only 200L tank, average drain is 11L/min, but finished the test in only 10 min, 90L,45%, because truck B runs way faster than A, so actually truck B can last longer route than truck A, though A have better fuel consumption and larger tank. I say this because I use ANK MK38 in recent tasks in Alaska, it defines what is fuel thirsty and have a small 200L tank, but I actually don't have fuel problem, because this beast have always-on AWD and diff-lock, crazy fast no matter on-road or off-road, always reach its destination before run out of fuel.
I know everybody loves the 64131, and I'd say that, if you're a new player, it's definitely the better truck for getting to know how to play the game and figuring stuff out. With that being said, I definitely prefer the 5319. It's just... a little bit better, at least for how I play the game. That 200L tank is a bit frustrating, but it's much faster than the 64131, slightly more capable, just as versatile in terms of addons, and even a bit cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I see the appeal for both, and the fact that you can get the 64131 at such a low rank is a huge plus, but as someone who has used both trucks for many tasks, I can say that ultimately, I almost always lean toward the 5319.
same here i prefer 5319 just for power i is a litle bit higier than 64131 but 200L tanks is not every time problem it is oke with me i dont mind too much aboute tank :)
I prefer 5319 to... When I had to criticise this video a little bit, I think that this creator should be more objective. It's okay that he prefers the other one, but there's obvious that he prefers Azov 64131 and every round that win 5319 he constantly spaming ,,but Azov 64131 is less hungry and they are almost the same speed!,, For me it's more enjoyable when these creators that don't put they're personality that much in theirs videos, they sound not put they're opinion that much, even u can't judge the trucks with a few tests -i understand that. Altho it's good video, I'll give like :) PS sorry if there is something that don't make sense - I don't think I'm good at English and I struggled with explaining that I have to say about it, so I hope that this make sense..
@Otium Borealis Except you, everyone knows the Tayga is better then the garbage BM17. But some ppl belive (even some youtubers) the Azov 64131 is the best allrounder Truck and much better then the Tayga, which is not true. Soooo Azov vs Tayga would be the most interesting video he could do.
Michael No Azov is better than the Tayga. It can take all frame attachments and will go anywhere. I’ve so far never managed to get it stuck even with heavy trailers which the Tayga was unable to pull the same route. It’s slow but excellent on fuel and will not stop..
Due to its limited fuel capacity I mainly use the 5319 as quick-ish "rescue crane". It does a pretty good job and fuel is usually not an issue for those short stints.
azov 5319 is a BEAST, I don't mind the fuel economy because it gets the job done way faster, and the maps are filled with fuel anyway. The 64131 is unstoppable though, you just need to take your time on the road... One small note, the 5319 will take 0 damage if you hit the front (because the engine is not there?), you can go full throttle ans smash into a big electric pole, it won't get any damage point.
Run the maintenance frame and use it for a recovery/support truck. That frame has fuel on it. Then fuel is a non issue and you get some speed. Thats what I use it for.
Tried both, and stuck with no regrets with 5319. I use it for scouting swamps and winter maps, as it is INCREDIBLY fast. Yes it is a ship, but give it a rescue addon, tow a scout fuel trailer with you and explore to your heart's contempt. I find it best with the stock engine for long runs. It can squeeze through mountain passes, rocks fallen and blocked the road? No problem. I have yet to be stopped by anything other then my own incompetence when reversing, ending up on my side... If you buy 5319, bring some big nuts (try to squeeze through EVERYTHING, drive on everything, and also some planning skills. It is a ship, but it is manageable if you know the handbrake trick, forcing gears from AI, and plan your routes.
Wikkitt Klown having the ability of using different trucks and knowing which one fits the task is not cheating nor being a noob, it’s common sense there’s no shame in using a good truck over another crappy one plus it’s how the game it’s designed there’s a progression system for a reason, if u don’t wanna use different trucks and stick to the basic ones props to u and u must have an impressive amount of patience, using the same logic why do u wanna build bridges and clear roads ? Right ? damned noobs and cheaters lol.
I've got both and like them both, but usually recommend people start with the 64131 due to it's lower fuel burn and larger fuel tank. The 5319 seems to handle mud a bit better for me since it's got larger tires and the extra speed is nice, but the small fuel tank means you really need to be aware of where your next fill up is coming from. I also like the looks of the 64131 a bit more. :^)
It’s not really armor. It’s because the engine is mounted behind the cab.Every truck with an engine like takes no engine damage from front collisions. The Tatarin 420 is another one.
I’ve noticed you don’t always pick the best mud tyres, the last one in the selection normally isn’t the best, it’s the second to last with the tractor style tread. There’s a thread on reddit with the values of each tyre and this shows this 👍🏼
The second one is better for mud, the last one is better for dirt. Here is the link for everyone who wonders: www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/comments/gfap16/i_wondered_about_the_differences_between_the_tire/?
So how this characteristic "power-to-weight" actually works? Its killing me, i still cant understand it. The red one has A+ the green one has A but its obviously more powerfull. Hidden numbers in the game are pissing me off.
Best way to check is to put a crane or same engine on each truck and see how much it affects the bars, that's the only truthful way to make sense of those made up stats
Power to weight means : Power divided by weight. Simple math, with the same engine but lighter truck you get a better power to weight ratio. With a stronger engine and same weight - > better ratio. This stay doesn't mean much to be honest, as a very light truck with a good ratio won't mean anything, it'll probably pull much less than an heavy truck with a C ratio
There are 2 types of power an engine has. Horsepower and torque. Horsepower allows vehicles to go faster quicker and torque is what gives vehicles the power to pull. Take for example the international loadstar, its got an s+ power rating but its not exactly the fastest but it can winch and pull even the biggest of trucks and heaviest of loads without an issue. The azov 64131 has higher torque than the other azov so despite its horsepower being a lot lower its power to weight ratio is the same.
Plus different ratios for the gearbox and diffs = different transfer to speed and traction etc so while this truck has a faster speed if you were to take it thru these terrains long distance and over multiple obstacles it might turn out a different
I just recently bought both of these trucks and i love them the big one makes for a good work truck because it has amazing fuel economy and i use the other one as a rescue truck cause overall though they are both great and i would recommend them
I'm glad I got the 6. Had to put the seismic vibrator on it. There's no way I could have gotten that job done pulling a fuel trailer around. It gives up a little in some areas, a lot in others, but it still performs well and does what I need of it.
It’s like when they were making the camo boi they went overkill on the speed and forgot about gas, and when it came time to make the red boi they all agreed to take it down a notch and make it consistent
I just got to Russia and first thing I done was purchased the 64131 because of the larger fuel tank and I'm glad I did. I'm very impressed by the truck. Yes it's slow but it can't be stopped lol.
I'd say take the 5319 for short distance tasks or whenever time plays a role like in trials and competitions and the 64131 for long distance or freight circle hauls as well as on maps without fuel stations and or trailer shops.
Just today tested all my trucks on Alaska Valley map on airport runway. Azov 5319 is speed king, with high range gearbox and best engine, nothing comes even close.
The Azov 64131 is very consistent. It runs for miles with little cost of fuel, and has little problem with mud with it's 4 axles. Still, i find it a little too slow for my taste. It's also really easy to tip over. Which is always going to be a problem with it since you can't equip it with twin wheels for extra stability. It also turns like a boat. But it's a good early truck since you can pretty much buy this at the beginning of the game.
So what I got from this is, one is of average speed but very consistent and lasts longer giving you a reliable machine to work with, while the other is a fast vehicle that likes to go fast and do things faster but isn't very easy to control and last less than half the time of the first one.
When I got a long heavy haul or want to rescue a truck and all the cargo another truck (like the ANK) dropped, 64131 all day. If I’ve got a quick sprint or have a good idea of where the fuel stops are, 5139.... or slap the fuel tank on the back and haul a trailer.
Azov 6 series is the best scout on new maps...it can go and go and go...and after many missions you unlock all map and only then need to refuel. With other trucks you are racing for fuel source all the time PS: chained tire is worse than mud tire even in snow..worse than offroad tire in mud
@C-Bomb that is just a glitch that can be patched All truck can do that so it can be applied to all. But lets drive as intended, hardcore style, no such "smartass" type of uses.
One important question: Does azov 5319 able to use trailer with mini crane and flatbed installed? I don't have azov 5319, but by the looks it has much more space due his smaller cabin. Azov 64131 is one of the trucks that can use crane and cargo platform (really good for some missions) but losing ability to connect any trailer.
the 10x10 azov can use mini crane and flatbed while pulling a trailer. only down side the nose is low and likes to catch and slow u done in rough terrain
I have to check that but most of trucks can't do that... But few I know that can do that, these are fleetstar, paystar, white freightliner are the one I know because I used them
Goop thats true but the P16 also has the highest amount of tire grip in the game, making it the most viable vehicle for pulling in mud, both are great trucks tho
Goop towing power means nothing when you have no grip in the deep mud, its near impossible to get the P16 stuck, the P12 is a different story, as it has the same tire grip values as most of the other trucks. I do agree the P12 is a better hauler as there are more trailer options, but the P16 is literally a heavy duty version of the P12.
@@MVSTNGGT I get stuck p16 with 4x slot trailer in mud pit on south of first location in alaska. Their tires with amount 3.5 in mud is really unique, but i think that Kolob with 8 MSH tires still have some better grip. P16 have also some handling issues - without awd, front wheels not very good doing their job on difficult terrain. Still very good truck. Very short for heavy, high shronkel, very stable
I feel like some of the better off-road trucks are put at a large disadvantage in these comparisons in low gear. Especially trucks like the TUV where the reason they excel is because they can maintain basically top speed without low gear in any terrain
I prefer the 5319 (camo one) with the high range because you can just leave it in high and skip across everything But I keep the 64131 as a rescue truck as it is very reliable
The azov 64131 is weirdly stable considering how narrow its track width is. I use it a lot and it CAN tip over but its always my fault for not taking a better line
The 5319 is basically for the fellow low patience people like myself XD Also the Azovs are the best type of truck in the game - these two in the vid plus the 73210 and 42-20 Antarctic are all beasts!!!
Love all these vids but a huge thing to point out is that speed and going fast really isn't what this games about at all so in reality the 64131 blows this thing away when you consider doing jobs and making deliveries
