President, scouted most of imandra with this bad boy, got fuel for days and its not to bad on fuel efficiency. Don't think I've ever ran outta fuel in any situation with it. Its definitely the tortoise in the race but she'll get you there eventually haha. And its also capable of have a 🍞 pack so definitely a plus 🐺 gang 🍞 squad 🐬 club 🐟 troop 🐴 of a vehicle GOD DAMN Professional 🎩👍
Yeah it’s one of those trucks that does just keep ticking along! It’s definitely good on fuel too, I can’t remember ever running out myself 👍🏻! Yeah it’s not the fastest thing but over time it makes up for it a bit as it does keep going! And of course it had to carry a loaf to be approved lol! 👍🏻🍞🐎🎩🐺🐬
You are going to have a fantastic time with mods; IMO it can't be too long more. Mods for me are fixed with Release Ver 8. I made a post on the mod previously. Having spent a week doing Imandra [Again] I did introduce a mod or two or thee or four and now I've 8 mods running wild on all my maps. Coop complaints have quietened down too .... so, ifin they've it running on PC as good as it is now ..... 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
Yeah I can’t wait for them to add mods, I’ve heard it’s on it’s way and they seem to be getting closer so fingers crossed it’s not too long! Will be much better once they’re here 👍🏻
Good morning(eastern us) Mr Wolf. I wish there was more of a purpose for scouts. With that said, I do wish there were more trucks like f250, 3500, suburban, astro van. A new bronco wouldnt make me mad either.
Morning dude! Yeah I know what you mean, I mostly used trucks for scouting, I like this ford but to be fair I won’t be using it all the time or anything! The loaf is the only scout I really find useful and it’s not for its scouting ability
What you were saying about the trucks slowing down In snow in real life is 100% true. I’ve gone through about a foot of snow on my quad and it really dosnt even slow down. It has 10 ish inches of ground clearance. It only had 25 inch tires too. It makes 38 horsepower.
Yeah they’ve made it artificially slower than it should be in this game for the purpose of “difficulty”, but it doesn’t always work as more difficult, just more messing around for no reason lol
Yeah it looks like it's the truckiest truck that ever trucked! And on top of that lots of that cool factor is actually very useful. And even better in my opinion: it feels a lot more like a real truck to me than most of the other in this game. Many of them just feel more like a full-sized RC car or something. Their suspension just seems too stiff and bouncy and they don't feel like they have much weight to them.
@@itsmrlonewolf lol I just went on a spending spree a couple hours ago, I now own literally every single vehicle in the game, even vehicles I don't like. I still got 4.6 million left. I tell ya if your ever strapped for cash, just join some random people online. There's a pretty good chance that by the time you go back into the story mode, the game will have duplicated you a truck or two. I swear I sell a truck just about every day I plan online. lol. I have absolutely no clue whatsoever as to what causes it, but hey I'm not gonna complain about free cash. lol
The 30k Michigan contract was definitely one of my favorite missions in the game. I love taking a whole fleet to deliver stuff across different maps. Like I had a truck for each cargo it’s pretty fun.
👍👍 Been really enjoying my V10 F750, it's great for truck recoveries and scouting new areas, a really nice rig all-in-all. I'm pretty sure the DL4520's biggest issue is weight, as even with the engine from the Twinsteer (PC mods woo) it's still pretty underwhelming. I've seen a few different people saying that game files show it weighs about twice what the Twinsteer does, roughly equal to what the P16 and Kolobs do. If that's true it's gonna need a lot of help engine-wise to be decent. The M916A1 however, is an absolute trailer pulling machine now that the steering is fixed, nimble because of the shorter wheelbase, you can fit the big tires without the raised suspension to make it a bit more stable, and like the dolphin it seems to make good use of the small fuel tank.
Yeah it’s much more usable now 👍🏻! True I’ve heard that thing is pretty heavy! If they gave it enough power then eventually it should work alright lol, but yeah just making it lighter so it’s not constantly fighting it’s own weight would be nice! Right now there’s just no point in using it unless you want the challenge or like the truck and will tolerate how weak it is once pushed! I hope they do something with it
Yeah true it sounds like it’s not being pushed to it’s limits? Although I have noticed a nice sound when it’s reversing, seems to bring out the noise a bit more! No worries dude I’m glad you enjoyed the vid 👍🏻
I'm really enjoying this truck now! I noticed it seems much slower with the roof rack and larger pickup bed rack than it is with the small bed and utility mount. It does amazingly well on fuel economy too. I haven't hardly driven the Warthog at all once I got this one upgraded.
Yeah it’s a decent truck now! I’ll have to try the roof rack thing, I find it a bit slow overall but it does stop it smashing itself to bits on the rocks so it’s not too bad! And same here I’ve barely driven that warthog either, whereas I’ve drove this a few times now and it’s decent 👍🏻
Your doin better on imandra then i did... Never got past 3rd in any gearbox. Snow in this game isnt really snow. Its more like white mud. It behaves like mud. Kind of annoying. Snow can and does pack when its wet. When its dry, its powder and has almost no mass. You drive on it and it blows around like Dust.
Lol I do enjoy the difficulty of this map in some places but it is a slow beast lol! Yeah I know what you mean, it didn’t really feel like that for the first month odd I think, but they seem to have done something to it and yeah it’s getting on for white mud now 👍🏻! They’re trying too hard to make the game difficult with stuff like slow snow and it doesn’t need it, or really suit it! I just want to drive around without being forced to go half a mile an hour because the game says it’s snow lol
I'm happy with the new f750 engine overall. Wasn't ever expecting this truck to be crazy fast but If the Khan Marshall was the tayga, the f750 is more like voron grad now. Tayga is fun fast drive but ya risk rolling and damage due to the speed, with the grad you are more likely to get the task done with little issue but it's a slow, steady pace. I almost get nestalgia now while driving this truck, almost feels like the f150 from mudrunner American wilds haha..wish the hummer from that game was in snowrunner tho.
Yeah same here, overall it’s a nice decent truck now and worth using! I know what you mean too, it does save on damage with a slower pace! Lol yeah I wish they’d add all the vehicles from mudrunner, I miss the f150 and the hummer, and those D535 trucks too 👍🏻
It’s a lot better that’s for sure, but I wish it had the punchyness of the new warthog or something lol! But yeah it’s a cool truck now and very usable 👍🏻
The gearbox issues might still be down to power, because the V-10, powerful, as is, is still not a truck engine. It probably doesn't have the torque, which might mean it's more often in the wrong gear, than other trucks.
Yeah it could be, I’m not sure how the coding works and if it’s the engine or the transmission? I’d love to try the highrange gearbox out in this just to see what it’s like! The loadstar with the truck guts is pretty good though
It has a pretty neat gearbox like a best of both worlds for scout gearbox the 6 auto gears and all the lows. Unlike the military freightliner which has a custom gearbox that is literally just an offroad box
Yeah true I like the different options on the gearbox, but I can’t deny I do enjoy that highrange box lol, I’d like to try it on this truck and see if it makes much difference! But overall it’s a cool truck 👍🏻
Yeah true I do like the options with this gearbox, but I do enjoy the power and speed of the highrange gearbox lol, I’d like to try it and see if it makes the power of the engine feel any different?
20:20 just to be clear, it was not the Voron that rolled it over, it was the Lo4F, you can see when you swing around that the power is coming from the Lo4F pushing the Voron. 11 out of 10 confirmed! 24:45 that’s exactly my though, I have 4 Lo4Fs, my 750, and a tatarin just sitting around imandra because I don’t want to wast 30 min getting back there in case I need it
Lol yeah the loaf is a beast 👍🏻🍞🐎! I think a lot of people think it sucks, but it’s got enough power to save some big trucks and it’s so easy to take along without slowing you down etc so it’s just better to have one than not! It’s an awesome vehicle, everyone needs a loaf 👍🏻🍞🐎
its just weird, that it starts with 3 different engines, but all of them are equally weak... maybe there are some slight differences, who knows? Some youtuber might do some tests to figure it out 😀😁 it just feels like a big oversight by the developers, or a bug.
Nah, in real life they were underpowered compared to the big trucks. Keep in mind it only needed to get itself and a load to 55mph on less than 200hp most of the time. And in order to do so they usually had a bunch of gear reduction in the transmission/differential.
I heard you mention not knowing where your Tuna was. Have you seen the new "Trucks" tab in the Player Profile, which shows where each of your trucks are located? Very useful.
@@itsmrlonewolf I totally understand. Also, you are correct to keep your trucks spread out on imandra.....don't recover anything unless you have to. They will all come in handy at some point!
Yeah Bruce is by far the best crane truck I reckon, they’re ok on the American trucks but not amazing, I wish they’d add some bigger American trucks that could handle a crane 👍🏻
Haha I’ve had a few fords in my time and most of them didn’t make it too far! Reminds me of a saying here for Lotus cars Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious
£7,400 in-game money is the highest Contest Bringing 2xConcrete Slabs to the Oil Field in Zimnegorsk ...... 13 trips approx for £100,000 in-game money .....
Yeah on the faster paced maps it feels too slow to me too, but on some of the tougher maps where top speed is rarely maintained, it doesn’t feel as bad!
