Honestly, this was a joke. After the Wolf Pack, they do it again? No AWD? It is hard to understand why they make such bad decisions like this.

IMO, it's a very good truck considering it doesn't have AWD. Not every truck DLC needs to be a big beefy Russian 30x30 with 90" tires and the ability to plow through mud like its another road. What they're trying to achieve here is variety and adding more options for players to choose from, and while I do respect that, I will agree it does kind of puzzle me that we didn't at least get the tri-drive axle version. It's a great truck for regions like Glades, or Scandinavia, and it can handle light mud just fine. I'm one of those people that enjoys taking it slow, which is why it probably bothers me when everyone complains about trucks not being fast or not having AWD. MIght I add that no one has ever mentioned how the P512 lacks AWD. Why? Because it does perfectly fine without it. American trucks will always be less suited for harsh enviroments than Russian trucks because nowadays we Americans can CHOOSE to go off road. In Russia it's pretty much bogs and mud trails 24/7. Didnt mean to make a comment this long, but I just thought I'd add my two cents. :)

The W990 is what you get when Kenworth asks to copy International's homework, just an ugly version of the Eagle. Its not a vocational truck, its a highway truck same as the Ford CLT900, International Transtar, International HX 520, and all of the Westernstars minus the twin steer. I question why they keep putting in trucks that aren't built for a well maintained dirt parking lot, in a game with the sole point being axle deep mud.

Its a worse P512. I took it through the river north on the Wisconsin map to grab some cement and while it made it, it was agonizing. This is also the only truck with a lifted axel where said axel doesn't change suspension height, it just gets in the way. Honestly? It feels incomplete, like The just rushed it out the door.

Yeah.....im gonna wait for a low ram tweak that adds a driven front axle. Not buying a dead steer.

I wish they added all wheel drive to Kenworth W990

Seriously they could add a custom W900 with multiple configurations (sleeper highway config, three axles at the back (with all being powered), and finally just a regular daycab) and make them all got AWD and diff lock. And considering those old school style W900 is more popular than W990 afaik then that as a DLC of 3 trucks kinda like the Wolf Pack but better would sell well imo.

Yeah I REALLY hope they add All-Wheel Drive to this thing it would help A LOT. I even tried this truck with the P16 tires (OHD 1's) and it still spun it's wheels in the mud even with added weight (add on's) Anyways enjoyed the video as always TC!

It looks like glitch works helped out in the design.

As for the aesthetics, I dunno, I kinda dig it. Performance wise however, it's got a lot of red flags. No AWD, Switchable Difflock (as opposed to always on), dead axle. For a paid truck, I'd say no. It's not worth it. But it's also another truck and I want it.

Kinda bummed about this one; I would've liked and older gen W900, but no AWD closes the deal and makes it a big pass for me. One DLC that I WOULD pay for is an AWD add-on for the Ford CL9000 and International Transtar. I've actually used them in moderate parts of maps and I really like them, for what they are. AWD on these would put them on my go-to list.Also, throw in the ability to put scout hitches on big rigs like they did with the Burlak, and I'd gladly pay for that DLC!

TC I agree with you with the stock bumper it actually looks pretty cool but the reinforced bar has more clearance than the stock bumper

This truck absolutely needs awd even if its the version you can turn on and off it just needs that extra something or it needs to be coded like the pacific p12pf the only non awd truck that actually gets on with its job with very few issues
