New, Tennessee-bound racing fun
Discover the wilderness of Burning Mill, Tennessee in Season 7: Compete & Conquer. Coming as a fresh map of 1 km², experience its competitive environment and a taste of summer, as you drive along its large river, through a village of tents and under a sky filled with hot-air balloons. A dirt circuit and a rally-ready off-road setting complete this map to receive brand new racing challenges. Compete against your friends or chase the clock in checkpoint races!.
New challenges call for new vehicles, and Season 7 welcomes two new additions for the occasion, each with an exclusive racing-themed skin: the Gor BY-4 , a super lightweight scout car, and the Sprinter 43-19, an impressive Dakar-style truck designed to maintain a high speed under the harshest conditions.
As with every new phase, all SnowRunner players will get new cosmetic options, with the addition of 10 new exterior stickers. To top it up, Season 7 brings cross-play support to Nintendo Switch, allowing its users to compete with PC, PlayStation and Xbox players!

I've enjoyed SnowRunner since it came out and loved every bit of dlc. But this...no one asked for this. I can promise you no one has ever been playing SnowRunner and said to themselves "these trucks would be great in a race!" I appreciate the ambition but next time, just give us a bunch of deliveries on a tough map. Throw in something massive to deliver at the end and boom, you would have another great dlc release

@@magsterthatis845 well I will say I didn't think anyone would want to race these trucks but I stand corrected. I just really enjoy the slow, tedious deliveries. Hopefully this season changes my mind but the thought of trying to competently drive the Tayga king or twinsteer at speed ...😬

I agree completely. I love how they're taking this interesting approach, but I just feel like it won't work right while the automatic transmission is struggling to figure out what gear it wants to be in and the truck is starting to slide left and right at 20 MPH. If the tachometers actually read correctly, maybe we would be able to work our way around the transmission flaws and utilize Low+ and High to our advantages, but that won't be possible either. Again I love this idea, but this game's driving physics and the transmission setup won't let it work as good as it should. Just another reason why we still NEED the manual w. clutch option back from MudRunner

The Games Engine isn’t meant to handle speed. Which is why vehicles spin out at speed on paved roads. But yes it would be nice if they didn’t.

Yip, I still play SnowRunner so much... sure Elden Ring took some play time away, but I still rate SnowRunner as one of my all time favourite games... just something about it seems to give this extremely enjoyable and nostalgic feeling... Can't wait to boot up the PS5 version tonight! Been waiting for this! Thanks Dev Team!

@@dimitarkonov6161 Yip... Framerate is great... But I seem to have sound issues, save issues, and some weird graphic loading... Not ideal, so I've gone back to PS4 version for now... Dev Team has been pretty good at fixing stuff in the past, so gotta wait till next update

Hi, I upgraded my game to the next generation version, but to my surprise I saw that the quality of the game is not good, the game has a drop in frame rate and lags a bit, and in terms of graphics the previous generation game was better, the quality of soil and road is awful And it is a bit blurry and poor quality, unlike the previous generation version ,Have you experienced these cases and do you have this feeling?

You are on PS5, I presume? If so, then you are not alone - same with me. The only upgrade is 60fps, but otherwise the game is broken now...

@@dimitarkonov6161 No, I'm on the xbox series x, in addition to the game's graphics which are extremely poor quality, the game does not have a fixed frame rate and has a slight frame drop.

I was so hyped for this update.. until I started up my series x just to find out that all the mods I've been using dont work at all anymore and 90% of the mod list is gone. Wish I knew about this before or I would have stuck with the xbox one version.

What,a,dumb idea. 'Racing' in trucks that doesn't even go fast, shift gears like dog crap, can't even take to the redline and bounce off the rev limiter! I wanna see mud slung of the tires, 100s of feet into the air, while I'm stuck in a bog hole, rolling coal on the rev limiter to claw my way out. This games dumb. The slower you spin the tires, the more grip you seem to have. You need to spin the tires faster to clean the tread pattern to have more traction. I was,so hyped for this game. I managed to save enough money to buy a series s Xbox. Got this game put about 30 hours into it. And haven't touched it again. It's boring!

Is it possible to polish slippery mud (eg OVERPASS) or slippery asphalt during rain (eg Gran Turismo 7) on the current game engine? Phase 7 without slippery mud or rocks does not show the potential of this type of off-road racing as well as off-road driving in general.

One map, only 2 not so useful vehicles, tiny amount of cargo tasks, forgotten trials mode... Seriously? This DLC can (and should )be packed into couple of new trials. Regret buying Year 2 Pass at season 5 with hope that 6-8 will be better and bigger than previous 4

I enjoy Snowrunner but racing is not what I personally want from the game. I would rather have a off road park with trails, hill climbs, rocks, different obstacles instead of a racetrack. I know this is only one dlc and I know there are people who will like this so that is good. Also, it would be cool to see a desert environment with a sand mechanic in the future. I like the Jeep and Land Rover dlc, I hope we bet more of that. Maybe the next game will be called sandrunner lol who knows

Well, that's officially the slowest "racing" I've ever seen. I'm gonna give this a try but I still think it was a bad idea. Throughout my many hours in this game, I never felt like any of these trucks were suited for racing activities. Gearing and handling has always been terrible.

What’s with the MASSIVE downgrade for series x??? The game went from gorgeous to dull, bland and washed out. Colors are bland while the lighting is dull with horrible shadows and reflection shine, metallic look on metals are gone. Driving in first person is vomit as well, shadows are pixelated as hell in the cab. Next Gen “upgrade” is a huge lie. It’s a downgrade not an upgrade. I’ve uninstalled this ugly game until you guys bring back the beauty I bought this game for. R.I.P. SR!

Early days but I see no difference in the game on series X except for framerate and draw distance......but then I must admit I thought the grapics looked pretty damned good anyway!! BUT just to let you know that Thrusmaster TX Steering wheels are unusable at the moment. They just don't work properly, vibrating all the time, imposssible to drive straight and no self centering . I'm sure this is a bug that will be sorted out soon?

I originally played this on Xbox but I repurchased it on the PC. I doubt I'll ever go back to the console version. Easily get 90 fps with settings on high. It runs better on the steamdeck over console in my opinion. The mods would lag sometimes selecting upgrades on console.

Game is a bit glitchy right now during some sessions and all the mods that werent certed for next gen console, which was a huge junk, wont be available unless the modders recert them which is unlikely as alot have stepped away from the game. Depended alot on my mod trucks to enjoy the game so this is a bit of a disappointment.

@@baitonsnake Xbox Series X player here! Been playing since launch and I can say I’ve never had as many issues with this game as I do now. All but 177 mods were removed entirely for me. I used nothing but modded trucks trailers and a variety of sxs and crawlers. All removed in this update. I hope y’all can fix this or I may be leaving the game in the past. I love playing around with modded trucks from Lime and InvalidRedneck plus many others who give us many nice truck and recreational vehicles to explore the modded maps and even the base game and dlc maps with. Now I have to use very limited not so good trucks until a fix. I’m not mad just disappointed it happened. I enjoyed the game for what it was without mods for almost a year but now I find the most fun in mods so please find us a fix 🙂

snowrunner is addicting as hell and the physics are extremely satisfying. I've put countless hours into it, and I would for sure reccomend it. not only that, but beyond the tons of content that there is vanilla, modding support is excellent with fully custom vehicles, maps, and etc. its a great game
