Good afternoon to you both, however you look at it 500 miles or 35 day's is one heck of a hike, to finish the trail is the right thing to do, to avoid disappointment in the future. You had such good weather to start with. I hope you do video's of your sightseeing of the rest of the country. Best Wishes. Andrew.
Fish and chips with sticky toffee pudding. It's OK no permanent calories are used in Preparing them. Congratulations on passing 500 miles. Finish strong!
Must be tough as you left the Cape Wrath to the last trail. That’s brave ❤I love How trail life makes your appreciate so much what you have at home (for a while anyway before you want to hike again 😅
Passing the 500 mile mark is amazing! What began as a miserable day seemed to improve greatly with your hotel meal, meeting Paul, no rain, spectacular views, & getting a tip for a beautiful wild camp site. Btw...it's your hike...not cheating. Happy trails! 👣
Doing well all considering, glad you got a good camp spot with dry pitching weather after the last one. I hope it helped to lift your spirits. 519 miles done 👋🏼
@@petermacleod2402 😁 i dont understand what you just asked me. Hehe!! Oh i just googled Scottish Ceilidh....no, of course i have not and of course I want to!! How do I find one for next time I come back?
Refreshing to show that it is sometimes a real pisser on the trail. Also that it usually gets better😁 A lot of people only show the good bits and pretend they never get pissed off or out of breathe. A good breeze and the midges go away. Either that or go in April. Oh, it is also best to walk on the side facing the oncoming traffic. You see what is coming and dont need to worry about what is behind.
Yes I agree. I know we walk on the right on left of road back and forth depending on which side has more room to walk on if cars are coming. Or if theres a blind sharp turn where oncoming cars coming towards us cant see us....we would walk on the left side
@dave72ization hahahaaaaaaaa!! I have loads of videos hiking the Appalachian Trail, Oklahoma, Arkansas, walking around my neighborhood with Bobo and such on my channel already. Hehe. The fleece hoodie is from a company is South Carolina called Lightheart Gear
