That little gal can play! Perfect intonation and feel usually reserved for players four times her age. What a joy it must be to interact with family in such a glorious way. Treasure it….all of you.
thats a good point about her intonation. When it comes to intonation, violin is one of the most punishing instruments i think... Her tone is super rich, really great stuff.
What gives even more awe and pleasure about this video is that the father is in the back. He probably taught (I know no history of this trio) them how to play their instruments and he's just in the back. What a father. And the fiddle and the guitar are awesome. I hear a little outlaw in that guitar, and as many others have said such beautiful intonation from all.
The Snyder's are probably in the top 5% of family bands. They are well practiced & serious, but I'll also bet both kids had extensive lessons. Dad is probably self-taught. And while clearly gifted, not just talented, so much of this is from a solid home life. You can't buy that.
I wasn't watching the video. Halfway through I switched over to watch... I was expecting some old, seasoned pros. What an unbelievable collection of talent. I like how the girl can't help smiling throughout... she knows they're absolutely killing it up there.
That was almost a quite enjoyable performance. The young girl was great and her older brother was terrific. Now if only the audience would have shut the “F” up until they finished, it would have been just right!
