I’m just wondering how you can make a direct sequel to the events of a game with 2 different endings depending on your choices. Is one going to be made cannon in life is strange 4. Did they both happen. I wonder
I'm wondering if since in the trailer she mentions two parallel timelines then both endings will be made cannon using that feature of the game? If they even mention LIS 1's ending at all
Hey, life is strange. I liked the first game and how max’s time powers put a spin on the usual formula with the telltale choose your path type games with how you could rewind decisions you regret and keep attempting paths that are hard to do.ninwas disappointed how life is strange 2 didn’t expand on that with characters with similar powers. True colours did something similar with how you could see emotions that I did like but didn’t feel as cool
right the power on LIS2 was so different from one, and even from true colors... it's my least favorite but yeah the ability to change regrettable decisions was a HUGE part of what made the first game so good!
I think it's so interesting how everyone adores lis1, then it's like 50/50 when it comes to lis2 (i personally love it a lot!!:), but i honestly don't know a single person that really likes lis3..i really really hope the studio created a good game when it comes to lis4, i think the fanbase is kind of disappointed with the last few games and would need another banger game. Also if u maybe did not know dontnod (creators of lis1 and 2 but not 3) will also be publishing a similar game next year it's called lost records and could be promising as well:)
I thought they were making a new game on Max and Chloe after the destruction of Arcadia Bay. So this new release is really confusing and not as eye-catching as i would have liked it to be.. I can not imagine it would bring justice to the original.
Yeah I thought that would be the case also! Because the comics apparently are centered around chloe and max's adventures after arcadia bay is destroyed ... So no chloe being there was definitely confusing
@riisaction Yeah, I felt a little sad at first. At first hearing Max found her friends dead body, I was scared Chloe died again. But then it was a new character. Still, I'm a bit disappointed I don't get to see Max, and Chloe's adventures after Arcadia Bay. I was hoping to see Chloe's dreams come true. I do recall hearing there was a comic about Max and Chloe after Arcadia Bay as well. Not too sure why theres no game on it when I heard a lot of people discussing a new game centred around the comic. I am very much confused about this new game. Haha
8:59 yeah me eitherrrr, the choices didn’t seem as heavy and the gurl person that was supposed to become your friend didn’t feel interesting enough to learn more about 😭
11:13 okay so here I paused before you played the trailer and I just wanna say if it’s a continued game of it will they where you saved Arcadia bay or Chloe ?👀 and will appear if you didn’t 👀
It terms of ranking I really liked the first game. The story and characters were was good. People make fun of the dialogue but I thought it had charm. I liked most the characters with some notable exceptions. I think the ending could have been better if it was a culmination of all your decisions instead of an option 1 or 2 choice. Before the storm was a good prequel and it made me like Chloe’s motivations as a character more but I don’t really like her attitude and her as the main character makes me like the game less then I would otherwise. Life is strange 2 was disappointing. I liked the characters but like you I didn’t really like where the story went. True colours is definitely my second favourite in the series. It had flaws but I love it anyway. It and the first game are my favourites.
I 100% agree, though about chloe, at times i found chloe to be annoying in the prequel but it made me like her more since afterwards I understood why she is the way she is and why she wanted to find what happened to rachel so badly
I also wish the ending of LIS 1 had ending options that involved more consequences for choices made but I do still think the buildup and moral dilemma made it pretty good
The trailer didn’t seem like a Life is Strange game, I totally agree with that and I also felt underwhelmed 😭 but hey maybe it’ll surprise you if you play it ?😅😭
Yeah which in my opinion wasn't the best timing because the topic requires a lot of depth and nuance to me that I don't feel like the game did a good job of providing. but since the subject is so real for us in America I think perhaps my standards are just a bit higher for covering subjects like that in video games/entertainment
