San Diego really does have the nicest people and is so pretty. For a big city, drivers were just really nice and always let you in during traffic and stuff which I've never experienced anywhere else. Would totally live there if I was rich.

Our clubs especially the hip-hop ones are either gone or small as hell . It’s pretty sad but, if you want hip-hop and people actually dancing you can try Vybz or the Owl if they’re still open 😂 Every time I go downtown something else is closed. Bluefoot in North Park is more casual and small but, guaranteed fun (especially on first Fridays/Saturdays).

I live in SD, we don't really have "clubbing life" so it's a little...weird lol as far as the sea lions? they're *mean* so don't pet one, but la jolla is amazing..if you get time go to la jolla cove and see the caves where people like to scuba dive.

OMG I can not believe you were at Yu SPA. I live 5 min from there. I am a Japanese girl who live San Diego over 25 years. I really love here, very chill, safe and clean. You should go to North Park or Normal heights area next time. All the cute cafe and restaurants are there.

Oh my gosh! I haven't had done a Korean spa day, but I've done onsen's in Japan (my first mortifying shock at being buck naked in public .. honestly I think it's more embarrassing with friends than strangers), and I've had 2 full body scrubs, like you described, but in Istanbul (on 2 separate trips). The first time was in an extremely traditional place off the tourist trail. My massage therapist was a huge woman who only wore underpants. I was put on a giant marble slab of a table like a piece of meat. And then when the soapy scrub started, I just became a human soap-bubble, slipping and sliding all around that table, nearly falling off, as that woman scrubbed a layer of skin off my body and flipped me around like a flapjack. In the top there among the most embarrassing experiences of my life, however I felt amazing afterwards. All of the stress was completely massaged out of my body, and my skin has never felt so soft. I agree with you Sundai. Twice a year would be amazing for your skin and wellbeing. But you do have to park all of your inhibitions at the door. Totally worth it though. I'm looking forward to trying a Korean spa, and going back to both Japanese onsens and Turkish hammams.
