This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; a survival audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! And they broke the record of their own with Lazenca Save Us winning 4 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs 2! Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist & rock vocalist with soprano falsetto voice), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, one of the semi-finalists from Voice Korea 2, rough-textured husky tone with R&B, Pop groove). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. Ko WooRim said they met more than 300 days an year together in Phantom Singer All Stars behind interview but in a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Thank you for your genuine reaction to Forestella! I was the same as you "What just happend?!" after watching their Bohemian Rhapsody rendition. They have various covers for masterpieces in their unique color with grand respect for the original songs. As much as you know the song, you might enjoy their version better and more. Start with the songs you are familiar with. And please be extra-careful if you use JTBC videos. Better blur or darken the screen to avoid the block. But JTBC version has fabulous visuals especially for Shape of you and Inner Universe. Like this Time in a Bottle, Je suis malade has only JTBC version..but it will worth the effort like hiding the video I can tell you. If you watch it, you will understand why. Now, watch this video again focusing the clock face. See it's reversed and time was going backwards. Free your imagination for the stories! I bet you would be replaying this song like hundreds times! Welcome to Forestella's world of music!! I understand your shock. But it is still too early to be surprised. More songs are waiting for you to surprise you. 🤗 They are a crossover group that sings almost every genre: pop, ballad, rock, classical, folk, dance, trot, jazz and tango. They always have the creativity of re-creating their own colors without losing the essence of the original song. They make special music that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, but they move us with music that resonates with everyone. The next must-listen song is Save Our Lives, the title track of their mini-album. The music video is pretty cool, but I actually prefer their live version more because their live is more fantastic. I personally like the MBC show Music Core version the best. And I highly recommend their signature cover song, Bohemian Rhapsody. Bueno, pues acabas de descubrir una banda absolutamente maravillosa que en base a tu reacción , se va a convertir en una adicción. Apenas comienzas y puedes estar seguro que hay más, mucho más, muchísimo más. Son maravillosos. Por cierto, si te hacen pensar en el universo, tienes que escuchar y ver su temazo estrenado hace un par de semanas, SAVE OUR LIVES, un temazo épico con un vídeo increíble, o INNER UNIVERSE, quedas muerto. Aunque si prefieres un directo, no hay problema, sus voces brillan incluso más.
