Oh, I didn't know this song was a religious song. That almost makes this more meaningful. My boyfriend (he's an atheist) is starting at a new college in a bigger city away from here, so i sent him a little voice message to tell him that i believe in him and i love him. For christians, and people with different religions, yes this might be true to YOU. But im an atheist and i dont feel this way, alot of bad shit happens and when is his love there to help me? What im supposed to pray and it all gets better? My family used to be christian, but we all gave up when he never did anything good for us.to me, and alot of other people, he doesnt exist, and what doesnt exist cant love me. Religions are just like opinions so please dont take this comment in the offensive way. Im just saying, you might believe god loves everybody, but to us, he doesnt love anyone.

I'm not a Christian but I like this song very much. I also like 'Hello my name is" and "Never Gone" by Colton. I think they are worship songs. I listen to a Christian Station and I'm liking it more everyday.
Hi, my comment is not about you and what matters to you, so it is okay if it doesn't matter to you. For me, as I stated in my initial comment, it's a Christian worship song, so when I am singing to/worshiping God, it matters that the song is Christian. This song is a band singing specifically to God, the lyrics are to God, hence Christian worship music.

I love these guys. I'm not really religious, and even though this is a Christian band, they don't directly mention God or Jesus, so I can think about this song like its a love song.
I am a Christian but this is what I love about TFK, Skillet, and Red. They're definitely Christian bands and Christians can hear the references to it but they're vague enough that it can be interpreted differently based on my mood or people who aren't Christian aren't pushed away.

For some reason, I've automatically assumed that slower TFK songs correspond with worship and God. I'm definitely not saying this is a bad thing, because TFK always busts out some of the most beautiful worship songs. However, for those don't use songs like these for worship, I found it really mindblowing to associate this with something more human, like a relationship with a best friend or loved one, just like the comments below me have been doing. This just showed me how awesomely TFK songs can be open to interpretation, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind if someone listening wasn't applying this to his/her relationship with God. This could be about anything/anyone you want. I wonder why I've never had the thought of doing that before. I don't know why, but that just makes TFK songs like these more beautiful to me. :')
In my opinion, this song is about a strong bond. A bond unbreakable by any other. Whether romantic, religious or something else, I believe that this song is about a strong bond.
Once I found someone who I truly care about this song gave me a new meaning. Before hate starts, yes I understand this is a christian band. But that by no means, says that it someone can't find another interpretation to the song.
Whenever my girlfriend gets upset, I hug her and put her head against my chest and sing this to her, she usually tries to sing with me even though she is crying... the point is songs break more barriers then words, its not just the words, its the feeling that comes from it. Heal people with it, don't cause more problems. Thousand Foot Krutch does this better then anyone, knowing how to play with emotions that is. I love using their songs for that exact reason. Play it while your reading an essay to your class or anything, soft and quiet and it will grab their attention and such. Its powerful.

And there is nothing wrong with that, As long as it makes the people happy, Why should they change what they think of it, Even if it's not the original. Now people should also stop bashing Christianity aswell(Or any other religion) and be respectful of their beliefs, In a song originally written for God, You can expect his name to pop up in comment sections, As would any other song about someone or thing.
