his multipliers are too low and his 50% rng on his follow up attack that can mess with energy rotations just means he will never be relatively competitive without massive investments. eg this is an E6 sparkle and E6 ruanmei show case
i would have said that im impressed, then realized that both ruan mei and sparkle are e6s5 ☠☠not to mention that yanqing is as well e4s4, honestly this is barely an achievement to clear moc 12 with such characters

Damn even with 2 e6s5 supports (not to mention aventurine debuff) his dmg was only about 25% higher than my e0s1 seele with e0s0 sparkle, e0s0 silver wolf and e6 tingyun
Aventurine's shield has 100% uptime+50% eff res buff and you don't need to consume sp much (yanqing drinks sp like crazy), and on top of that he can debuff enemies
Yanqing loses his buff if he get dmg. Sure Gepard could do that to some extent, but not consistent enough. And Aventurines res buff helps Yanqing to not get targeted by other kind of status effects
You’re wasting a turn with ruan mei’s skill. The duration goes down before the turn not after. So when there’s 1 duration left, you can basic attack and skill when it’s her next turn

Also, you gain more energy by doing that since your skill points are too full if you basic at the 3 turn like is your ass not watching zero cycle to know the faster ult if you always skill?
