@@the_rabidsquirel Possibly faster than bullets as they're (generally, excluding Brad nailers and other teeny tiny nails) longer and heavier. Pretty much every firearm designed to be used underwater has *extremely* elongated bullets. That said it has more to do with mass and the properties of water. Tests have been done on (at least) electropneumatic nail guns out of water and unless the nail gun is held right against something the nail tumbles and would barely give a person a bruise. Blank fired nailguns however are probably much more powerful. I did a thing made a nail gun hammer and _apparently_ (he does lots of visual tricks) a nail went through a plank and right through his cieling. One definitely went through a piece of steel plate, or most of one. There was no reason to fake that for one of his jokes. However he made the nails himself using a lathe so they had an airtight fit to the nailgun. Most nailguns don't have an airtight fit because you are putting nails through wood and not steel.
It's da damn fine mod, but I admit SPOILER a little later with the Gargantua on the street, controllers in the air and the player platforming o narrow space it can get a bit infuriating on high difficulty.
@@Bifurdoggo It's probably not the best, but - halflife echoes aside - what mods do have good mapping? Azura sheep? nope. They hunger? not really. Even paid ones like blus shift suck.It's not so easy to have nice SP maps, MP is way easier imho and they at least tried hard in Poke646 and Poke646Vendetta.... (I use worldcraft/hammer and now jack since 2001 myself) .... HL: Echoes is - for me -the pinnacle of goldsource mpping in a mod, though I doubt it would run nice on Systems from the late 90s.... So back to my question, do you have any mods with nice (SP) mapping I should try out?
@@eatpoopoo c.a.g.e.d is pretty good but then again it's an entire campaign of hecu grunts that snapshot you and can tank 4 shotgun shells so still kind of bad
