In regards to hunting: Even seasoned hunters may only wound an animal on the initial attack. Tracking the animal, to ensure death as well as prevent further harm, is and always will be an important skill. You goof.

That bothered me too, hehe. I didn't know they respond to damage tho. They seem to hide when Jolly damaged them, so... He is wise. Just... Not consistently.
@@JollyWangcore I didn't even know it was possible to kill tentacles outside of scripted events. I always just crawled around these ones, using pipe bombs as distractions if need be.

A bit late, since this was streamed but: while there's definitely pride in getting through an area in a forced no-hit run (stuck at 2 health), I would definitely be okay with using the "give item_healthkit" command (requires "sv_cheats 1") in order to get back to, say 50 health? make it a 3 shot death instead of just a one shot. Especially with the seeming lack of actual health drops. Also: 9:35 The shotgun always shoots two bullets (like the super shotgun of Doom 2 or Quake). Might be why it seems to much more powerful and also why there's no alt-fire (this isn't the quad-barrel from the Unreal Tournament series).
@@XSniper74184 The it was at least some release of Quake Area (I've always had a hard time keeping those two ideas separate for some reason; low connection, lots of similarities, and experiencing them with mixed bits via other games/media).
When I first saw name Poke646 I was thinking it's Pokemon themed mod for HL... Which in fact would be just hilarious. Imagine ANY weapon in the game being basically snarks. Imagine being able to summon your own Headcrabs, Vortigaunts, Grunts or even Gargs!
The two previous videos I've been sitting here thinking "Man I'm almost sure I played this back in the day, seems so familiar, maybe I'm imagining it" And then as soon as the section with running on the ledge outside of the building came I 100% knew I played it and I remember thinking how sadistic the dev was kek. I fucked up so many times on that section.

That ledge-ladder section one hit death could've been avoided if he took cover after shooting at that toad. From 35 to 9 HP then one bee sting down to 2.

You know... This double-barrelled shotgun... In original HalfLife there was an ordinary pump-action shotgun, SPAS... And its alternative fire was... double shot. Wich is also impossible in this pump-action shotty. So it maybe that we have a sophisticated inside joke - impossible shotgun, just another variant!
