I had this same exact car when I was 18, when I bought it though it had a strait 6 and ended up building a 305 for it out of an 80's Camaro.. Same black paint with rally wheels.. Lot of old memories seeing this video, can't wait to see how it ends up..
I still have a nova 66 Chevy ii door my father bought it brand new in 66 and it is been in family ever since I would not take anything for it to many memories

Nice find!!!!…..i have a set of the rear lift shackles i have to still install on mine….the air shocks are brutal when you go over bumps but without them my tires will rub…so i gotta rear lift kit from mcbays …..just waiting on better weather to do the install
Very cool video !! I Just stumbled across this channel. Im Inheriting a 1970 SS Nova and its a very similar project. It had new .030 350 CI engine put in in 1987 and barely was driven after that.. Ive got so many parts and so much to do.. I want it right and it is my keeper.. Im gonna really look around your channel and take it all in.
Some Mexicans did NOT like the Chevy Nova, because "No va" in Spanish means "doesn't go." I had a pristine 1972 Chevy Nova back in 1988 that my uncle bought for $300.00 bucks. I traded him a 1976 Honda 650 motorcycle for it that I took in part trade for my 1973 BMW 2002 Balvanera. I also got a 1975 VW Super beetle along with the 650 Honda For the BMW. I got the BMW when I traded a friend for my new $500 TV set and a stereo. I swapped the Nova for a 1983 Pontiac Trans am with a 305 and a 5 speed. Plus the guy gave me $1,700.00 on top of the Trans Am. I then swapped the 5 year old Trans am for a 1975 Chevy corvette that I then sold for $5,650.00 and it all started with the $500 TV and a stereo.
tires looks good to be setting for so long. there has BEEN MORE BARN FINDS IN LAST 2 YEARS THAN THEY ARE BARNS.IM SELLING BARD DUST WITH A SPRAYER IF ANYONE INTERESTED
Hey buddy, there’s a company called Dent Wizard, which can come by and get those small hail dents and any car dings out of the side of the car without painting so if that cars got a good paint job or you don’t want to sell it call the company it’s similar to Dent Wizard Those people are out of Ohio Columbus area so man good luck love the car
Very solid car looks like, certainly needs attention or sold, too good of a car, too valuable of a car to let go. I've been building a 71 finally have it driving, that's a SS car, must be fixed.
First thing that motors got to go.start over old school.i had the same car back in 1979.yes take that out.a old 350 4 bolt will rip the tires on that thing
