This is one of my favorite Wii games and definitely an underrated and almost forgotten about gem for the system. Not to mention a black sheep amongst FF games being a spin-off of a spin-off. It's worth the meager $5-10 you'll pay to play. Besides their attitudes being similar to Zidane's the comparisons to 9 stop there though. Great review!
This game is amazing I don't know how people didn't like it. RPG is shit, no yu gi oh shit, it actually makes the player use their brains in combat not click on bottoms n shit. Its sad that they ended it
I think this game is underrated. With a better translation and a real battle system it could have been a 10/10 title. Sadly, the game was released in the US about a week or two after FFXIIi so...uh...YEAH. They didn't have the budget for a battle system. Or a decent translation.

I think if they made a game with a world structure similar to this but more advanced it would have the potential to be a great fucking game. Just watching npc's do more than just stand there or go through a walk cycle... plus I used spend hours trying to find a way to trigger npcs when I was a kid. I guess it's like getting to play with the game developers rather than just play their game.
When I was young, I always loved this game an inordinate amount. It was my first time playing a sandbox sort of game, and I was sucked in. I think, in a way, the way the game de-emphasizes combat actually works in its favor, making it more about exploring the world for its own sake, seeing what things you can come across and only occasionally killing things. Combined that with the entertaining (if flawed - the pacing was all over the place) narrative, and you have a game I spent way too much time on.
im such a huge fan of the original that when this first came out i was so Personally Offended bc of the wild shift it took from the original. I liked layle, which is unusual bc usually i hate protagonists, and i spent a lot of time playing it even tho I was mad about it lolol The fact the lilties took over as the Dominant race, and the racism against the selkies from the previous game was addressed was p cool tho. This video makes me wanna go back and replay it to see if i hate it as much as I did when i was a kid lmao

One of my favorite Wii games genuinely I bought it for like $10 in a K-Mart clearance bin and then basically beat it over a single weekend because I enjoyed it so much
The developer said that he drew inspiration from GTAIV. Gta has 3rd person shooting and a huge open world to walk around in with different ways to play. Since its in 3rd person biew woth a pointer on the screen, hy couldn't we shoot things with the wii mote like we did at the beginning of the game only with magic? Why couldn't we level ourselves up like you're supposed to do in Final Fantasy. Also there should've been sword combat and a party we could command using the wii pointer in some way. #missedoppertunities

well you see I don't own a wii and I don't think its worth buying one considering that their is almost no games on it that I'm interested in playing. and its not really worth playing on a wii emulator either due to the motion controls of the wii being so difficult to configure for a modern gamepad that its not really worth the effort (tried playing no more heroes 1 on a wii emulator called dolphin a while ago it was not a good time)
+Jimmajabba I'm not hating on KH though. In fact, I actually like the series a lot. I just think Square's titles are kinda funny. No hate or anything like that. Just joking around m8!
