The 2023 NBA Draft went pretty much as expected with a few exceptions. After the first pick we got a shocker that made a lot of fans angry. This is a look at why so many people did not like the Draft.
@@josegarcia-xd6lt I’m not a hater it’s just every hornets fan wanted scoot they were literally pissed when they drafted miller I’m a warriors fan so I don’t really care
what a move by charlotte. could’ve flipped scoot for zion or ingram, but nah, let’s draft miller after he called mj old and that he missed a ft! let’s go!!
It sucks because Charlotte is actually a nice city😔 From one small market fan to another I hope you’re team starts making good moves now that the goat is gone👍
As a Kings fan, Dallas fans are going to like Richaun. He plays hard, and he may not be the best guy on the court but he's a more than capable big. Even got a signed jersey from him a few years ago
As a Mavs fan I appreciate it, I'm actually rooting for Kings to make it in playoffs last season, not knowing my very own Mavs be the one who wouldn't make it.
And I see people saying "Great content bro keep it up." How hard is it to double check the video before uploading it? Not that 1st time it's happened on this channel too. It shows dude is either lazy or dumb.
As a heat fan as soon as I heard Brandon miller to the hornets couldn’t be happier. Hopefully this is finally the year Dame is finally gone from that hellhole
I'm honestly so excited for Rockets this year. Feels like one of those sports movies where the team is a mess, clowned on, and then a new coach shows up and makes it all work. Not expecting them to get to playoffs but hoping they finally find an identity and are in that pool of teams in reach of play-in this year. I just don't know if Jalen Green will mature into a team-focused player.
The Rockets have the most cap space too . I had Amen 4th and Cam 5th in my mock draft , the fact the Rockets got both is amazing . Dallas Mavericks had an amazing draft . I actually like the pics the Blazers got even though I wish Miller would have fell to 3. Josh Hart or Bruce Brown would be nice for the Kings .
@@texasscifi3431lol what are you smoking? There’s no way that a) the heat trade Jimmy for anyone, and b) Jimmy accepts being trade to the Blazers😂 that man is basically the kryponite to a franchise that unambitious
Cam Whitmore is going to be one of the success stories of this class. Dude is going to be a starting caliber guy for 10-15 years. Hes just a kid of course he isnt that mature. Hes a kid that has always gotten attention and soecial treatment his whole life as the big star in high school and college
@@7srchoed he's not right now because as I said he's a kid who always been the center of attention. He will grow up in league, to pass on a more talented guy because he hasn't matured yet is insane. In two years ppl are going to regret passing on him, mark my words Robert Williams was extremely immature coming into league, you know why he is called timelord, right? That panned out just fine
Imagine the Bulls in 84 passing up on MJ, because "we dont need a shooting guard". Oh wait, that's what the team did that drafted Sam Bowie at 2 that year lol.
Smart move by the Hornets. Scoot might be better but Miller has the size advantage. The 4 of the last 5 champions clearly taught us that size matters. The Raptors have Gasol, Siakam, Ibaka and Leonard. The Lakers have Howard, Davis, James and Kuzma The Bucks had Lopez, Giannis, Portis and Middleton The Nuggets have Jokic, MPJ and Gordon With Mark Williams , Miller and the return of Bridges the Hornets have one of the biggest froncourt in the East. If Lamelo is healthy they can surely make some noise starting next season.
Hey AM, could you tell me what show the clip about Cam Whitmore was taken from? Just wanna watch the whole episode to cope with the lakers passing on him lol. Thanks for the content!
of course no one is going to talk about how well portland actually drafted - potential superstar caliber player in scoot, solid 3 and D with murray at 23, and the steal they got for their defense at 43 with rupert - but just more babbling about trading dame with literal projected odds 💀
As a Thunder fan Cason Wallace is who I wanted. Tho Idk if we needed to trade up for him. The Mavs needed perimeter defense as well so maybe they threatened to take Wallace unless we took on Bertans contract. But over the last 3 years I've learned that when Sam Presti really wants a guy, they're gonna be nice.
The Hornets draft this year is so underrated.. i think Brandon Miller will be great and we git a Scoot like olayer in Smith Jr who i believe would of went top 10 if it wasn't for his injurry last year
As an Indiana fan golden state stole trayce Jackson Davis at 57 most projections had him 20-25 he is literally green. Plays good D, great in transition, great in midrange and has that mentality u want on your team
Crazy overreaction to Charlotte and Portland drafts 🤦🏻♂️😂 Portland can still trade scoot, doesn’t necessarily mean they are trading dame even though they should. Charlotte made the correct decision as well. They already have a high level playmaker and scouts are actually 50/50 about who has the better potential between scoot and miller. Scoot is a safer pick, but plays an overpopulated position that’s easy for teams to fill. All that taken into account Charlotte would’ve been crazy to take scoot or trade the pick as they need assets, trading for Ingram or Zion would put them in a worse position than the pelicans, they need to draft well and develop they’re young guys and aim for playoffs in 2+ years.
Charlotte fans should be happy they got B Miller the kid is a straight up stud he’s a NBA player day one he has a smooth silky game he’s always under control and can get any shot on the floor he wants don’t boo the kid then turn around and be his biggest fan once you see just how good he is🤦🏿🤦🏿
Lamelo and scoot in the back court sounds like it could be good but tbh I think it's more likely it would be a disaster. Brandon miller is the better fit for the hornets.
I can't believe that the Hornets fans don't see how good Miller is. Scoot is amazing, however, he doesn't have a consistent three-point shot and he'll become a defensive liability in the playoffs.
You showed Jabari smith while talking about Kevin porter. Also… the rockets have changed a lot with their culture in this off season. Like, basically rebooted everything.
The Biggest Loser, was the NBA for letting ESPN, commentary and analyst do the show, it was so boring! I felt like I was watching the WBNA draft. No fun no entertainment. They should have had Steven. A, Big Perk in Jefferson up there doing that draft. I was very disappointed!
Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. Their appearance as a common plant was in the mid-Cretaceous period. There are 12,000 species now. [1] A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color green. That is because they are wind-pollinated rather than insect-pollinated, so they do not have to attract insects. Green is the best colour for photosynthesis. Grasslands such as savannah and prairie where grasses are dominant cover 40.5% of the land area of the Earth, except Greenland and Antarctica.[2] Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous plants. They include the "grass" of the family Poaceae, which are called grass by ordinary people. This family is also called the Gramineae, and includes some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae).[3] These three families are not very closely related, though all of them belong to clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a similar life-style. With around 780 genera and around 12,000 species,[1] the Poaceae is the fifth-largest plant family, after the Asteraceae, Orchidaceae, Fabaceae and Rubiaceae.[4] The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others. Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow tall, such as bamboo. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands, including areas which are very arid or cold. There are several other plants that look similar to grass and are referred to as such, but are not members of the grass family. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales.
To be honest I think Blazers fans are sorted here no matter what - you’ve got a player who would normally be a number 1 pick in most drafts, and you’ve still either got the trade package you’ll get for Dame or you get to keep him… Wemby would of course been better, but all things considered it could be a lot worse
As a hornets fan, I don’t get why so many people are hating on the Miller pick. He’s a great fit, and not only that, he’s a generational talent. People are acting like there’s a huge skill gap between him and Scoot, and it’s not a huge one. I prefer Miller to Scoot, but that’s just my opinion. Melo and Miller are gonna be a fire duo💯
@@CMXR he’s a 6’9 forward who has offensive and defensive skill at all levels. He’s a playmaker and a good shooter. Not only that, he was the best player on the best team in the country this year. As a freshman. So yes, I do think Miller is a generational talent and I think he’ll be better than scoot
Imani is easily the best choice for CLE given their options. Great culture, disciplined guys, younger crew. Might be a nasty addition. Watch this man break out with excellent guard and 5 spot play alongside him. Disclaimer: I know he'll realistically spend a year or two in the G League, but here's to hoping they work his ass to be an all star. Risky choice for insane upside potential. I'd hate to say it, but Cleveland's 3 spot is kinda ass and he can eventually fill that role (he also plays SG, but I think can be a great fit at 3 for Cleveland's system). He's 6'9 and can shoot, he has the ability to fit in anywhere.
Anytime there’s negative reports about a college player…right before the draft OR a professional athlete (NBA, NFL) just before new contracts or trades, I rarely if ever believe those reports. Those reports never came out months before any negotiations. It’s as if teams are deliberately trying to devalue players, so they won’t have to pay those players their true value. It’s like watching the show, ‘Pawn Star’, where the pawn store owners try to find blemishes on items to devalue their worth, so they can buy them for cheap. Sports teams are equivalent to those pawn store owners.
Wrong footage Casey! You showed Jabari Smith Jr. instead of KPJ. Then mentioned Lively with Cason Wallace in the video. But still rooting for you man! I enjoy your one-man show!
The fact that, even though he knew he was going to be the number one pick, he still played for his team because he didn’t want to let his teammates down. If that doesn’t show you how much respect he has and how much he wants to win. I don’t know what does.
I have a theory that theres going to be a large boom in all sports, now that technology is used so widespread kids with that go get it attitude can be learning everything at a very young age. This is just my prediction.
0:32 I really don’t like this claim, it feels like every year I hear about how 3-5 players “would’ve gone first in another draft” would they really? Because it gets to the point where you only have so many first overall picks and so many prospects
I really hope Brandom Miller proves them wrong. He's not just a better fit but he's around the same level of talent as Scoot. A Paul George kind of player is better (a better fit too) is than a D-Rose kind of player with Lamelo
Fit wise it's better, I hope he isn't a bust. Remember Kings picking the fit of talented big man Marvin Bagley over Trae and Luka cause they already had a guard? Yeah I bet they don't regret going with fit at 2 over obvious talent. Luka was clearly better at the time but Marvin had the size and "ceiling" to be a KD type of 6'10 jump shooter
Also when GSW picked fit in James Wiseman cause they needed a center over the obviously more skilled Lamelo cause they had guards already .. At the time Wiseman was a prospect, it was what he could possibly become, same as Miller and same as guys like Bagley in past
