Hmm, I agree that she rivals Laura Bell Bundy vocally; however, she cannot even begin to compare to Laura choreographically. I think the best mix of Laura and Becky would be Haven Burton. She has a strong voice, she has excellent command of the choreography, and she can do a "SO-OH-OH-OH-OH! MUCH BETTER" perfectly!
I was lucky enough to meet Becky recently. She is such a lovely person and I was so starstruck. I even got to sing in front of her which was absolutely insane.
She's no Laura but she was definitely did the role justice, best Elle I have seen that's not Laura. I like how she did her own thing and made the role her own.
Honestly after Lbb, I haven't seen anybody that can play Elle as well as her. Laura Bell Bundy is The Elle Woods. Yes every actress/ actor has their own unique style and tone, but once you see the best, the rest don't compare. Laura, sings and acts with such emotion and passion, like no other Elle I've seen.
I think Becky is the best Elle after Laura. Sometimes I think she's better because the original actor that plays the role sings similar to the cast album and after listening to the cast album 100 times, I want some change. I like her impressions and the way she songs some lyrics.
Koray A because Laura was in the cast album? Also you should find a video on here of Nikki Bohne (she played Elle in the second national tour) singing this song. She's awesome at it and I think she's better than Becky. Her or Kerry butler (who sang the demo of this song) ughh I wish Kerry could've been Laura's replacement 😩😩
Yes Becky is really good!!!! She has an amazing take on Elle Woods, and has a wonderful singing voice... I like the different acting styles she chose to play Elle.
I saw Becky on Tour, while she is not my favorite Elle I do appreciate what she brings to the role, and I met her at stage door and she was very nice to me and everyone else :)
Becky is finally coming back to Broadway for the first time in 8 years in SCHOOL OF ROCK. She will be playing the discouraging Patty replacing Mamie Parris (who leaves to do CATS)
Becky is really, really good. But I do really love Laura Bell. Although, I think I prefer Becky's so much better because even though they both radiate so much energy, I think Becky's voice and vibrato fits this song better:) but I love them both. And I like heaven, but not as much as becky and Laura bell
In a way I almost like her better than Laura. Laura has more energy definitely and they both sing well, but Becky has the right look for "Elle". They're both attractive women, but Becky captures that glamor that Reese has.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by Laura not capturing Elle's glamour. I do think that LBB got Elle's energy and expressions/mannerisms like no one else... Laura is the most realistic Elle, in my opinion
@@Meme-go9ts imo theatre acting is very VERY different from film acting and honestly thats why imo lbb's better but im not saying becky = bad because i do like her it's kind of like how taylor louderman's take on regina george fits the stage while renee rap's take on regina george fits film acting this is all my opinion though
So true! Becky is my personal favorite but she always kind of felt like an understudy. Haven had the star power of Laura, they could both command the stage, but she had a lot of Becky's charm and humor too and was just incredible.
just like most people, i will forever think LBB was the best. Becky is good but at least in this performance i felt like she was going through the motions and putting on a performance instead of it seem authentic and as if she was actually going through that epiphany. but she’s got talent so i’m not hating
I know this is super controversial lol but I think there could be someone better than LBB... and it's not Becky lol but I think someone like Reese who actually got in and was planning on attending a school like Harvard (not Sutton either even though she can do anything)... she's out there somewhere!
