This whole performance is a love letter to her heritage. She was born and raised in sweden but her parents are from the nomadic berber tribe from the atlas mountains in morocco. She wanted to emulate the feeling of the desert with the sand on the stage and the overall orange color scheme. Her outfit, including the nails and henna tattoos on her arms and hands are a modern take on traditional ornaments. And the runes on the screens are a mix between nordic runes and moroccon runes to reflect her multicultural artistry.

loreen worked her ass off to get into shape for this performance, especially cardio, because of how difficult the song is. queen behaviour.

I also like that you took the time to really listen, go back and think about the song. During her performance she was interupted by a stage invader, so she had to start again, really professional of her to be able to give this performance after that. Loreen won Eurovision back in 2012, with the song "Euphoria", that's a great song to react to, btw! It's a Eurovision classic, and is considered by many as one of the best. She wrote the comment "Euphoria was the sunset and the moon, while Tattoo is the sunrise". My interpretation is that Euphoria is like Sweden (where she is born and raised), quite dark, there is snow, while Tattoo is like Morocco (where her parents are from), it has this warm desert light, and there is sand, but both songs has this mystical, etheral vibe and sound. There are symbols that looks like traditional Moroccan tattoos, some have said though that they've seen Nordic runes there too. To me it's like a mix of her, she's both. Loreen is really an _artist_ , a performer, and there is so much thought and emotion in everything she does, it's a beautiful song, but it's so much more than a song. Hope you get into Eurovision, I know a lot of people actually got into Eurovision back in 2012 when she won. There are so many other interesting Eurovision songs. And if you get into Eurovision, perhaps even vote for Loreen? Even if Eurovision is early in the morning in Austalia. And yeah, I realize it write a bit too long sometime when I get excited about something...

I'm so pleased you appreciate Loreen's artistry. I'm Australian with some Scandinavian ancestry, so of course I'm a huge fan of hers as well as other artists from Sweden and Norway (in particular). I hope you get the chance of watching other videos Loreen has done (such as We've Got The Power) and other artists from that part of the world (like the brilliant trio from Norway: KEiiNO).

Such a great reaction! The sad truth is she's not everywhere because she's Swedish. Most of the bigger artists in the world are either from the US, the UK or from big countries or regions where you can make it big by singing in a language spoken by a lot of people. To be a huge star in the western world you kind of have to make it in the US and not even ABBA managed that. Look at Zara Larsson for example, such a huge talent and one of the greatest young vocalists and performers in the industry today but she's been trying to reach the American audience for like a decade.

I've tried to get people into her and share her music, but it seems like no one is interested. I am American though and Americans are fickle when it comes to music. I think she's an incredible live AND recording artist, singer, songwriter, and producer!

And you should listen to Statements from 2017 with Loreen. Thats amazing as well. The final Eurovision song contest is held May 13 in Liverpool, They host for 2022 winner Ukraine..

It's pre-Euphoria era too, she's always been a goddess when it comes to singing and performance even without the budget.

I know I'm way late to the party, been scrolling comments a bit but just adding: 15:00 it is all Live on stage. The Music is pre-recorded and if you see musicians playing instruments on stage those are never live, but the song must be and there is a % limit. There are background vocals available that also sing live but the main artist cannot stop singing due to being out of breath or something and just rely on background vocals covering for half the song. This is Melodifestivalen, the Swedish trials to Eurovision. If you think Eurovision is a lot with two Semi Finals and the Grand Finale, then Sweden has 4 Semi Finals, one "Second Chance" (for those that place 3rd and 4th in each Semi) follower by a Final, all spread out over 6 weeks. If you want to see some fun, goofy music mixed with great, emotional, pop, rock and other genres, give both Eurovision and Melodifestivalen a try!

She is not representing Sweden yet, the finals will be tonight and we'll see. To me Loreen is the winner but ultimately the Swedish people decide. Loreen has won Eurovision for Sweden in 2012 with Euphoria. To me Euphoria is better than this but Tattoo is a song that needs alot of listens to be fully enjoyed. Loreen also participated in Melodifestivalen with the song Statements, this one did not go through to represent Sweden in Eurovision. Loreen is of Moroccan decent and the symbols on the screen is native moroccan tattoo symbols. The tattoo performance have a feeling of sand so we Swedes think this is representing her Moroccan side and Euphoria that had snow elements in the performance represent her Swedish side.

It's one thing to like or dislike someone's product, but you implied somehow that you have a basis to comment beyond that. As far as I can determine, regarding Gaga, that is not the case. Just go ahead and acknowledge that you don't care for her later work, and leave it at that. More importantly that is the sort of thing you should have edited out of your video, to avoid exactly the point of contention you raised with me. I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
