@@Outrunwhistle that is different. People hated it because it was "for kids". The acolyte makes fools of jedi and makes no sense at some point. There's good in the show but too many bad once. I'm thinking of making a video about it to give my opinions a little more because naming all of them here is going to take too long. The KOTOR games are incredibly diverse. you've got black characters, Asian characters, Indians, lesbians, and many more. Those games are beloved by so many. Nobody has an issue with diversity. The issue is diversity for the sake of diversity. John Boyega has spoken about this and his dislike of his his own character, Finn. But that's only part of the problem. The REAL issue is a director with zero understanding of the world in which she works. The Acolyte episode 3 showcases this perfectly. Leslie Heyland took all of George Lucas's Ideas about the Force and threw them in the trash. When directing an adaptation of one of the most sacred and beloved pieces of Star Wars media, I don't think it's too much to ask that the director has even the most basic understanding of Star Wars.

@@KilroyEdits-ic9fm I haven’t seen episode 3 yet. Don’t try to dissuade me, it’s become a family tradition to watch all the shows ever since the Mandalorian. However, I have been hearing flack for it. Fingers crossed I can find a silver lining. I shall return when finished.

Hell, Plagueis tried to and the force reacted by making Anakin, so I don’t really see why people are getting so worked up about it. While Disney’s mantra tends to fall under “this has been done before” (*cough The Force Awakens cough*), this isn’t canon-breaking.

@@axotrotel8388 an opinion doesnt make something true....but you can believe it ofcourse. I find the show has one of the worst and easiest script. Lets do the opposite of the prequels and play it safe. From my view there is hardly creativity and worldbuilding with the amount of money and freedom. I hoped that episode 3 would become better, but instead i thought: oh, please..you didnt. The conversations are the same quality as Xena, while Ahsoka, Andor and such had a much better script. Ofcourse, this is my opinion.
