I love the last tip. I have worked in my career for 12 years and I earn decent money but I wanted more financial freedom. Almost 2 years ago I started reselling and my wife was not a fan. She didn't want me to do it but I told her I was still going to give it a try. Thanks to you and many others who put content out there within a year I started making 5-7K a month as a side hustle. I was able to pay for an international vacation for my wife who is totally on board now. We just started looking at houses that have an external garage or larger properties because the store has outgrown our current home. I would also say trust yourself and what you put into it you will get out of it. I trusted myself even though others laughed or disagreed and now they are shocked at the success I found.
@@fullthrottlenutritionpanet7577 id bet Cloths and Electronics since its the most common to hit those types of numbers, other categories are more difficult unless you are an expert within the category.
I started watching you guys in 2020. I just had my son, and I was so scared to send him to daycare because of the pandemic. I started reselling using only your videos. I have replaced my income, and spent 4 precious years with my son. I never thought it was possible🥺❤
I started Aug of 2022. 2023 was my first full year. Did 95k in gross sales. Learned a lot from you all. Keep up the great content and thank you for sharing with everyone what has worked for you and what has not worked for you. Helps us avoid making costly mistakes by jumping all in one direction without testing the waters first.
I actually run an online record store for my eBay store. I exclusively just sell used records CDs and cassettes. I work from home by myself but luckily I am an introvert so I don’t mind but yeah, it’s very important that you have a support group, especially if you’re an extrovert.
So happy you’re getting back to your Roots of teaching! I’ve been watching y’all since Allie was showing us how to get stains out and her and Callie were making a giant hanger😉 Loved yall then and love yall now. Y’all have so much knowledge to share with resellers. Thanks for not getting caught up in the drama and always being real.
so many people rely on thrifts and garage sales, love that you pointed that out, so hard to rely on those alone, there great supplemental but can't be main sources
You have talked about these tips before in some earlier videos. I put them into action over the past year and my business has really grown. Thank you and keep teaching, 👍👍👍
My husband and I are part time reaellers we are taking steps to go fulltime. We love all your videos. You guys have helped us out out so much with all your content and we wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Hey Ryan, long ago I was a full-time reseller and did it all solo. SO hard, but I had access to low or no-cost inventory and made it work. This time around I'm happily part-time (retired teacher), also solo but am enjoying it much more. What I learned back then has helped so much. Also while I don't live in the Tampa area, an old friend moved there recently so I'll be visiting regularly. I was there in January for a week and have already booked another trip in April for 10 days. What FUN it would be to run into you and Ally. I'll be house-sitting (and thrifting) near Bradenton in April. Cheers!
Your video quality and content is excellent and I feel like you should be very proud of the editing and creation of content. I resell a little bit just for fun and am not consistent at all, but I watch every single one of your videos. It's entertaining, informative and honestly Your editing and videos are network show worthy. I wish you guys continued success.
I just started training a friend to help me today so this video dropped at JUST the right moment! I sent it to her before I even started watching it. I’ve been an all-notifications-subscriber for years and have learned so much from your team! I think it’s time to officially join your mentorship group. I’m so jazzed right now lol. Keep your eye out for Flippin Britches! We doing BIG things in 2024!
Reselling is a lot of work I have been off and on for about 6 years but in the last 2 years I have been doing it consistently. I agree with tip number 6 it is lonely. Great tips to go by
I've just retired and am now fulltime. My awesome husband built a huge inventory shed for me in the backyard lol. I'm now going back thru all my old inventory and trying to ruthlessly get rid of old inventory to replace with new. I LOVE reselling
🔥 hell yeah brother! (In my best hulk hogan voice) I watch 3 or 4 people. Just found younguys. And I LOOOOOVE videos like this. The finds are nice, but the willingness to educate is where it's at! I'm going to dig through your stuff and look for more vids like this.
Ive been on ebay for 18 years. I just went full time. Totally violated your first rule, but I maxed out my 250 listing cap this month for the first time ever. I have other platforms I sell on as well so I have scales up those platforms as well.
Very useful stuff my brother and sister love you both and my wife and I enjoy your content ! Would love to watch a video on vintage and categorizing the pricing according to the grail 🙏💯❤️
thanks Ryan I am just getting started selling on ebay and first I'm really gathering information on how best to start selling which has led me to your videos and I find them very helpful so far .. it's stories like yours that allow me to believe I can do it too .. I'm a firm believer in starting a business plan and stick with it . seting goals and methodically smashing them building a business slowly gathering and utilizing information along the way.. For me I've been going to estate sales yard sales & flea markets for many years and find it a great source of pleasure.. now I just want to shift what I'm buying and begin selling on ebay .. I've sold for years on Craigslist and market place now I want to learn all I can about selling on ebay.. thanks for your tips and sound advice.. Jesse
I jst started a second brand new ebay store for anyone who thinks its impossible or "to late" to start ebay with no feedback, i literally created a brand new accnt from scratch, and sold my first item i listed within 3 hrs, it was 200 dollars amd the buyer didn't care i was new or had no feedback the key is to have very unique desirable items atleast for the first few, to get your store going! So find someone rare where your item is the only one and desirable
Hey Ryan. I’ve been reselling on eBay here & there but not consistently. I’m ready to go full time. How many items do you recommend I list per day ? I’ve been sourcing as much as I can recently and having a lot of fun. Thanks for the content !
love these types of vidoes man, keep up the great work. Im in a paid discord for reselling but the community is mainly for video game reslling, but I spealize in sports jerseys and am trying my hand at vintage clothing. Do you have the link for your paid platform or is it invite only ?
Well due to my recent back issues i cant have a normal job anymore. However... when i can list and do some other things... i do make sales. Are they all heavy hitters... nope i got smalls as well. But worth it. As they are small and easy to list and dont take up space.
Back to your ROOTS! Lol Excellent advice. Making a schedule for myself TODAY. My sales are pretty consistent but I need to do more. I have a huge death pile and that is intentional. I heard folks were seriously hurting during the Plandemic due to no back up items. This is a very lonely job. I care for my elderly mom (for free) that has moderate dementia so I get the double whammy. This was a WONDERFUL pep talk taken to heart Ryan. ❤ Thank you so much. My best to Allison and Callie. Many Blessings, K.T.
Whatched you for a long time whatched every video i can just started selling first of December my wife doesn't want me doing it. I stay gone alot so she has been doing my shipping lol. It's really hard.
Going to thrift stores, and going to yard sales is consistent inventory. Retail Arbitrage would be the next step if the world explodes and you can no longer find a yard sale or thrift store. Become diverse and your knowledge of what's valuable, and you can walk into any thrift store and make a significant profit.
It's great to hear about resellers joining groups for support but how do you deal with resellers who try to undermine you or that make low ball offers to mess with your sales?
Being from Northern Cali I was a lil put off by your comment Not all of us in California are EEWWWW Maybe you’ve never been here ? Want to keep watching your channel but you’re making it hard to want to. It’s like me saying gross Las Vegas trash. But my experience there was not trashy. K rant over. Love n light. Thanks for the useful information
Hahahahahaha 😂 I was born and raised in folsom CA and yes most California's are ewww they are like locust they go to new places and destory them then swarm to the next, they did it to Oregon, and recently idaho (raised the housing to where locals can't even afford it..., brought their stuoid voting) they ruined some of texas, and starting on florida. California is a beautiful place minus the whiny btches who live there and the cost of living
Most of the tips you gave is for people who have been doing this for a while and already successful and it's assuming that everyone is going to have hundreds or thousands of items and each one being a different item.
Going on vacation next month for over 15 days. Looks like ebay says I have to pause my store. Do you have any experience with that and how it affects sales?
Hi 👋🏻 Ryan I’m doing part-time on eBay, I only posted a few things. I have had many views, but no sales yet. It been approximately 2 months, but I am being patient 😂 lol. Do you know how much eBay will charge for leaving the items on for so long? Thank you for all of your tips, I appreciate all you do. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Hey Ryan, good advice but what about health insurance? That's my biggest worry is having health insurance if I go full time. I hear private health care can be expensive but also hear I would most likely qualify for discounts or subsidies. How do you guys handle this? I know if you make certain amount there are no discounts.
Hey I don’t know if you will see this but I am interested in doing eBay part time. Do you or anyone else reading recommend offering free shipping or making the customer pay for shipping?
Help!! I’m new to eBay YES I’ve had it since year 2000 but for casual buying.. I sell on poshmark but cross listed some items. Something sold but then it dawned on me my PayPal account is messed up and blocked due to fraud, does that matter? If they pay can I still get paid?
I like the vibe of this video. Very professional. Also very much found the week spot of other ebay resale systems. Sourcing for 80% of your time is not productive or beneficial to society as a whole. Finding someone with excess inventory and helping them service that need long term makes much more sense.
I live in a town of about 20000 people in Nebraska we don't have a lot of places to go and look for stuff to resell and I don't quite understand drop shipping and I know you have to have some money to start it because you have to have money to send the stuff because he may take so long to send your money and then they take out a lot of fees and I don't know how many fees they take out I don't know but I don't ever make very much money by the time I pay for shipping I promote my items because otherwise they never get seen and I only make about $300 a month just selling stuff from around my house but that's without taking out postage and all the shipping supplies cuz I don't use their store I don't know how to work that either seems like it's easier just to go to Dollar tree and buy shipping supplies I'd like to know what you think it seems to me like my situation where I live in such a small town and I don't have printer so I have to go somewhere to pay to print the labels anyway it's easier just to go to the post office but what I want to know from you is what's the cheapest way to drop ship which are best tip and then how much do you have to sell on eBay before they send you a 1099 at the end of the year. By the time I run my gas all over town to the different garage sales in the summer because there's not that one thrift store in town not very profitable
I’ve had a weird uptick in new (created that day) 0 feedback buyers in the past 2 weeks, it’s only been on $50 and less items, but I’m holding my breath for 30 days waiting for them to try some sort of scam to keep the item and get refunded 😅 I’ve been fine with 0 feedback buyers before, just weird I got an unusual amount recently, what’s your experience with 0 feedback buyers??
We do more WhatNot than eBay, we do have another eBay store and our hiplion store the sales will not be in the public solds as we have the out of stock option turned on. Appreciate the question
Is there a profit to be made if you buy Amazon returns and do you have to fix them or are they sellable right away and do you pay shipping on the Amazon stuff and then pay shipping on the eBay stuff I'm confused and I also live in a state that we pay sales tax n the customers get charged for sales
Zoom calls every week, full discord group, Facebook group, accountability challenges, literally everything to do with: eBay, Amazon, whotnot, wholesale, liquidation, OA, RA, social media, health & fitness, I can go on and on :) you’ll make your $30 back in knowledge the first hour in there.
What's up ? love the videos....was wondering if you do any in person help because we live in the Tampa area...we sell on Amazon and Ebay and Mercari but honestly need some help in building into more income if you offer any sort of in person mentoring thank you
It’s Impossible to make good income by selling on eBay. Every year will be different . For achieving next level you will need huge storage space full of items.
Lol it's not impossible 😂 golden state reseller just bought his second home and stores all his eBay items in his small ca garage and has done it All alone with no staff and he's in his 60s. Your name is perfect
