i must be doing something wrong ive fish here in SoCal for 6+ years ive never in my life caught a Perch... its either a Corbina , Spotted Fin Croacker , Yellow Fin Croaker , Sand Bass or a Halibut.... i use the same rig as you with live BloodWorms and Ghost Shrimps
