BBC in Scotland are hiring him now as a pundit ( part of their " diversity " program funded by license payers FFS.) he actually has the nerve to critisise players missing goals. Absolutely shocking. My grandad could have found the net there
He gets a gig with BBC Scotland now as part of their diversity program which allows people to comment on games which normally they should not be allowed to do. He should be banned from Scotland. he also played 2 times as a sub for St Johnstone and was on the bench when they won the cup in 2014. had the neck to rush on and collect a medal and get in the team photo. What a dick.
Listening to Chris now on Talksport. Still remember that miss today! The commentary team on Real Radio for that clip included a certain Alan Rough as I recalled! 😆
i was in wales visitin friends when this happened... Wales were playing Leichtenstien later in the day... and Leichtenstein fans LAUGHED at scotland for missing that... thats how fuckin bad it was
This is so funny. Also, these days it'd have likely been disallowed by VAR anyway, he looks like he's just offside. Incredible that this wasn't actually a relevant distinction though 😂
LOL I have just finished watching a video of Scotlands Euro 08 Campaign which evoked some prowd and powerful memories. Now I have just watched this and this one clip sums up Burleys entire rain and the complete contrast these two campaigns have in comparison.
@rydomart911 He did get a few more call-ups but they were mainly sub appaerences with like 10 mins to go. I know what you mean though about him being a decent player, he was the big strong striker Scotland could have done with at the time.
@lewisdfc hamilton get about 500 more than teams in the 6th tier of english football. problem is, people in scotland gravitate towards celtic and rangers even if they dont live in glasgow.
@JCA1712 yeh to be fair theres tiny clubs in the spl that shouldnt be there, the likes of hamilton and inverness etc, my team (dundee) are in administration and got a 25 point deduction and we STILL get bigger home and away crowds that half the spl teams
Compare this reaction with an English commentator. "Wouldn't have happened in 1966!" Or now even the English are realising 66 was a LONG time ago: "Wouldn't have happened in 1990!"
