What are your print settings to make it contain air pressure? Yesterday I tried printing a lid for measuring the pressure inside a soda bottle. It was not containing the pressure at all. :-D Nice video again! :-)
with this one in particular I didn't really care too much about air leaking through, so long as there was still enough to shoot the dart. Typically if I need a part to hold pressure I print a little on the hot side of whatever filament I'm using and over extrude a bit too. Soda bottles are hard to seal with 3D prints though, I got the tolerancing as tight as I could in the most recent rocket video and there was still some leakage.
@@Sciencish I read somewhere that if you print ABS, a simple acetone smoothing could make it water tight. I solved my own problem by using my thinking-brain. Turns out that lids for dish washing soap was ideal for my problem. :-D it made a perfectly tight seal.
