Adams River sockeye - their life cycle, migration, and spawning, along with the river and the people who celebrate it. For more movies about salmon and the Salish Sea, visit my website at www.oursalishsea.ca.
Wow, that was such a compelling video. Thanks for sharing the sockeye's journey. It amazes me how far the fish actually go in the ocean and return to spawn.
Thank-you Bob for an awe-inspiring video. Even though I grew-up in BC and have heard the story of the sockeye's lifecycle- I learned several new things from your video. Much appreciated.
I was super tempted to travel to Adams River for the dominant run this year but sadly I didn’t have enough time to drive there for a weekend. Glad I was able to see this video and get to experience it through video!
Wonderful storytelling Bob … compelling and stunning videography! If you are ever looking for an assistant sometime, I’d love to be part of what you are up to.
Save the Columbia/Snake river salmon and remove the lower 4 Snake River dams to give them a better chance of avoiding extinction. It's time and we can mitigate the lost services of the dams. The Northwest will benefit tremendously from the restorations of the salmon runs.
