Sofia the First is The BEST Disney Show 

I just want to make sure something is clear: in the video I am comparing Sofia the First to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (MLP). I'm NOT saying MLB as in Miraculous Ladybug. I like Sofia the First because it is very similar in quality to My Little Pony. And since MLP is my favorite show, I think very highly of Sofia the First 😁

"Sofia the First" and "Elena of Avalor" prove that even kindergarden or elementary-school shows can have great storytelling, brode lore, inner logic, character development and continuity; and so does "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic", don't they, "Miraculous Ladybug"?

I loved Sofia the first up until mid season 3-4. I just hate how the family and her friends got pushed to the back in favor of the mystic isles.

I love this show. I loved Amber's development and heavily sympathise with her. She is the only reasonable and mature one. Sure, she was rude for no reason but the more you watch the show, the more you realise that she had her reasons. Next is Sofia's friends. They were brats but they are kids so immaturity is definitely there. This show was amazing as a whole.

Sofia the First rightfully deserves her title as number 1, she was my childhood and I loved seeing her interact with other disney pincesses also, I didn't like amber back then but now I see her as a pretty complex character two by two still slaps

I'm happy people are recognizing how great Sofia The First is. It's one of my favorite shows, and I'm saying that as a 16 year old. 😊

One of my favorite episodes of Sofia the first is "Just One of the Princes" It showed something that is not seen alot in media, male struggles with gender equality.

It's a shame Sophia isn't in Disney Princess line, she totally deserves to be! She is the cutest child of all Disney's shows, and besides she teaches kids many lessons, I can see her as a normal kid

The whole theory that Sofia the First is the key to figuring out the whole Disney princess timeline from the first occuring to latest is just so intriguing to me.

I love Sofia the First, it's a great show with many great characters and songs.

1. Sofia The First and Elena Of Avalor both have the same creator, Craig Gerber, and a nice chunk of people from Sofia did work on Elena. Elena Of Avalor is even more story driven than Sofia The First despite the similarities. 2. That connection to Disney Princesses is quite interesting when you consider the people that have worked behind the scenes. There's obviously people who worked on other preschool shows, but the storyboard artists and directors that worked on the show have pretty big resumes (though most Disney Junior shows have that) . Director Jamie Mitchell, one of the executive producers, worked on many Disney shows from the 1980s and 1990s, such as the original DuckTales series, The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh, and Goof Troop. Some of the storyboard artists have either worked Disney movies from the 1970s-2000s like Aladdin, Hercules, The Little Mermaid, or Atlantis The Lost Empire (such as John Pomeroy, Randy Cartwright, Francis Glebas, and Larry Leker) or classic Disney shows from the 1980s-2000s (such as Jill Colbert, Hank Tucker, Eugene Salandra, and Viki Anderson). Even those who didn't work with Disney before have impressive resumes, such as storyboard artist Aldina Dias (who was a prop designer on Avatar The Last Airbender).

Definitly my favourite part in Sofia the First is How she meets all kinds different kind of princesses

Despite being a boy, I loved Sofia the First when I was younger. I remember trying to guess which princess would appear in which episode. I was obsessed with frozen at the time so I waited for a ep where Anna and Elsa appeared. Can’t remember if it ever happened, but I do remember being really excited when Rapunzel came.

I am not ashamed to admit... I FRISKING CRIED AT THE END OF THE FINLE!! I watched once apon a princess when it first came out and (besides Doc Mcstuffins) it was my go to watch when I was bored. I do agree with that if it was 2d the animation would be even better Edit: Cedric and Baliwic were mine and my bros favourite characters

Sofia the First is my comfort show!! I like to watch it when my anxiety gets too overwhelming from time to time. It has its flaws, and I personally don't really like season 4 as much as the other seasons, but it's helped me quite a bit and i genuinely enjoy it

This show is really good. I don't find the art style ugly, i think it's cute especially the animals's design; they are adorable X3 James and Amber are entertaining, they learned important lessons like '' Think before you act. '' when James was on the isle of dragons and '' Bigger is not always better. '' when Amber wanted to forced Sofia to choose her method for the tea party. I like the differents locations we saw; the school, the forest, the village, the ocean. Every one of them are beautiful and the backgrounds are colorful. Love them! My favorites song are; Bigger is better, Joining together, In Elvenmore. All of them are catchy, have fun beat and cute lyrics. The opening is great too, so iconic and full of rhytme.

I love it when Sofia the First gets the appreciation it deserves! Cedric’s character development was the sole reason I started watching it as an adult (I saw spoilers as I came to it late) and while that it still a big reason I love it, there is so much else that’s good about it as you said. Another character I especially like is Aunt Tilly and I absolutely love the songs too! Such a great show!

I was young enough to watch it as it came out and loved the series! It’s been a while though so I don’t remember all the details but many of the moments are quite memorable. I was also able to watch Elena of Avalor however I think I missed the final episodes of the series somehow 😅 From what I remember, both were really good and a blast to watch when I was younger^^

I remember wathing some episodes of Sofia when I had nothing else to do in the mornings, and it felt really good to watch it despite it being for kids, the characters were over all well done and I had a very pleasant experience with it. plus the kids felt like actuall kids rather then the dumbed down version of kids some other shows offer to you, so that was also a positive aspect of the show. I also really enjoyed thet the princesses only showed up in specials, since it gave them more importance than have them be there for Sofia all the time. I guess we share a lot of opinions regarding this show! (Cedric and Amber were also my favourite charactes, so yeah)

I remember blasting Sofia the first songs and singing along all the time and my family would get annoyed, also love the Sofia art, so cute.

Sofia the first is one of those shows where if you skip to the end it's not really emotional but if you watch every episode you will realize how much growth the characters had along with sofia especially Mr. Cedric going from a evil sorcerer who wants power to a charming individual who prioritizes on protecting/helping sofia is so heartwarming how much he grew as a character and at the end of Forever Royal where he picks up the amulet instead of getting the power that he wanted long ago, He returns it to Sofia that PART there made me tear up this show gives you the feels so much!

I think you'd enjoy Elena of Avalor, it's definitely worth the watch. Especially the last season.

It’s great for those who have stepsiblings (like myself). So glad Amber improved over the series. Cedric’s is my favorite character arc, especially with Sofia. It’s actually kinda funny when she goes from calling him Mr. Cee-dric one season to Mr. Cedric the next.

As a male, I loved this show! I loved seeing Sofia grow! I loved seeing the mother interact with her new children! I love the trolls! I love the mermaids! The witch! The only thing I will say is that the last season or two felt...off. I don't know if it was because the show spent less time with the family or town, or maybe that's just the mood the episodes before the finaly always feel. I am not sure.

I was lucky to have a younger sister and my own kids to turn me onto this show! I love it and would put it on for my little ones all the time! It was a show I didn't have to worry about my kids watching and it was great to watch too! If you ever want a show to watch with your kids this is a great option! (or by yourself! No judgement I have to watch MLP without my kids to enjoy it! lol)

Yes, Sofia is still on Netflix, which is really frustrating for me as someone who only has Disney Plus. Elena is on D+ though, all except the Sofia special, so I highly recommend checking it out. It was indeed made by the same people, though the art style is a little different. You might like the character designs a bit more, since they're a bit less cartoony, though I personally don't care for how they design super young characters, but everything else does look really good. They also go a bit heavier into the plot too, making story progression pretty much the driving force of later seasons. The songs are good too, with some of my favorites being "I Hope I Make Them Proud" and "Something I Would Never Do". It also continues the thing with Sofia, where the characters age. Elena is 16 at the start of the series, and turns 21 during the finale

I got into the show in my late teens and since then it’s been one of my favorite comfort show. Cedric is by far my fav character ever 😂

I also loved this show when I was a kid, I liked almost all its episodes and specials; Cedric was my favorite character too, despite me having nitpicks with his story.

Just the concept of learning to be a princess reminds me of Go! Princess Pretty Cure. But i also love how disney went about it for Sofia by having her learn because she became a princess because her mom and their king fell in love.

Im happy of see Sofía getting More recognition, in these times of Disney being acused of too many things with no direct evidence (sans one casé in 2014) Is nice to see someone acknowledging the good things the company did, Sofía deserves More affection and More screentime, i really wanted to see her in Disney mirrorverse

Sofia the First has a very special place in my heart. I remember watching this show as a kid and liking it. I only watched episodes from seasons 1 and 2 I believe before growing out of it. Then, over the summer for some reason, I decided to rewatch Sofia the First. I don't remember what made me want to rewatch it, I must've watched a video or something of someone talking about Sofia the First and it brought back memories so I was like, I wanna rewatch this lol. And that's what I did. I rewatched almost the entire show with watching seasons 1, 2, 3, and some of 4. I really liked watching Sofia the First! It was really good and entertaining and I would watch several episodes a day lol. Rewatching seasons 1 and 2 brought back memories of watching them for the first time and I got to see what seasons 3 and 4 look like. When I got to season 4, I noticed that there were tons of episodes on the mystic isles and there were some other episodes that didn't sound appealing to me so I didn't watch them. I only watched the episodes I found interesting and wanted to watch so I never finished Sofia the First. But that's okay, I lost interest after a while. But Sofia the First is an amazing show with great songs and amazing lessons. Sofia is the sweetest princess ever ❤️

Sofia the first is so underrated I don’t agree that it’s the best of all time, that’s probably personal preferences talking, but it’s certainly better than it had any right to be.

I only watched a few of the beginning parts of Elena of Avalor & Sofia the First because I like things like that and I DID NOT know that the disney princesses were going to be introduced and only found out they appeared after I am dropped off 🤣🤣🤣 What I did see of them were amazing, though - the openings were amazing and I couldn't get them out of my head 👏👏👏 Keep Up The Good Work~!

Sofia the first, is really good in my opinion and it's sad that no much people talk about the show even after the show ended (Although Elena of Avalor exists so there's that). The song, characters, the atmosphere and the sense of fear is what I liked about it. I realized that this show is almost 10 years old, so who knows if people will suddenly talk about Sofia in the near future or perhaps meme culture.

Aaa I'm so happy to see someone talking about this show!!! I initially watched Sofia the First with my little sister when it was first airing because she was the target demographic for it at the time, and we both still think of it really fondly! We've got inside jokes about it that we quote to this day, sometimes we'll go back and watch episodes, and of course, we love the songs. I stopped watching it during its later episodes, but I really do think it's such a sweet and genuine show and I'm really glad it's around.

Sofia is one of the most nostalgic children shows to me. I loved to talk about it with friends and wait up until the premier of each episode. Sadly, as I got older, I lost touch with it. But I'm glad that it can still be known as a great show years after its ending!

So glad to finally hear someone else praise this show. I got so frustrated trying to get people to watch this show when it was on. I even tried getting Bronies to watch it, but they refused due to it being on Disney Junior, and refused to see the irony.

It's really nice seeing someone talk about this show. I always found it to be on a similar level to MLP FiM in terms of quality, and it's a shame not many people talk about this as much. Some of my own favourite songs are Blue Ribbon Bunny, and Cedric the Great.

I just love this show so much it’s impossible for someone to grow out of this I don’t even think it’s made for juniors I mean, this is top notch, entertaining it’s everything.

I love Sofia the first. My father introduced me to the movie thinking it was the newest Disney Princess and then I’ve been glued ever since, I still watch it repeatedly as a 19 year old, since it helps remind me of my father who passed away a while ago. King Roland reminds me a lot about him so that’s one of the main reasons I love and watch the show, it’s a comfort show as well.

I loved Sofia the First growing up! It was such a good show! And I agree the songs, story arcs for the characters, their character development , and how they grow is really well done! The plot was really well done. And I definitely agree that "dumbing" down a kids show isn't a good approach. It makes me sad how many kids shows just aren't as good as they used to be. And I generally enjoy "kids" shows because sometimes they are well done, like this one and MLP and so many other's :3

Sofia the first was one of my childhood shows (i even remember getting a sofia dress and her purple amulet thing, before it turned red because of Alena) i don't remember much of this show though, since i was like.. 5 or something when i first watched it years ago.

My sister used to watch this every night to bed until she started high school- I don't remember anything about it- but I do remember it being really cute 💖

I always enjoyed watching Sofia the First. I really like her family, and they are so supportive. Although, it did take me a while to like Amber. I also really like Sofia's friends (except Hildigard. She is so frustrating.) But I wish we got to see more of Zangar and especially Chloe. The one episode that actually focused on her (which is one of my favorites in the series) gave her a lot of potential, but then they don't really do anything with her after that. I always liked the animation. Sure, season 1 looked a little stilted, (not really surprising), but it was still pretty good. And then it just got better to the point where I feel like I'm watching a movie. I don't even have to say anything about the songs. They are great. Not Frozen or Encanto levels of great, but still love them. So, yeah. Whilst it's not my favorite Disney show in general, it's my favorite Disney Junior show.

I absolutely loved this series as a teenager. I think it’s as compelling and high-quality as the TV shows geared at adults I watch. I’ve been rewatching it on Netflix (it’s not on Disney+ as of typing this). We need more shows geared at young kids (and especially “feminine” tv shows) like this.

last year I actually gave Sofia a revisit and finally finish watching Elena of avalor properly. the obvious reason is that season 3 wasn't a thing when Sofia was finishing

Sofia the first was my second favorite childhood show (with Thomas and friends being first) The reason I love this show so is because the animation, the episodes (my favorite episode is the curse of princess ivy) it’s funny jokes and the characters like Sofia (because she’s friendly simler to thomas) and amber (because I like her character development) I really miss this show 😢. (I haven’t seen Elena of Avalor.) I want this show to return and continue where season 4 left off. Btw great review and love your art of Sofia it looks cute.

I haven't started the video. But. Just reading your clarification comment has me smiling. I have thought that for _years._ I wish more ppl, the kind of ppl who love MLP, would give Sophia a chance. I remember this being one of the shows I’d watch all the time as a kid! I probably watched it when it first premiered until I was maybe six or seven when I started watching TV less and less and grew more attached to my old tablet. From what I can recall, this show was actually pretty good. Looking back, my favourite characters have to be Cedric and Amber too, mainly because of their development and arcs throughout the show. I was a big fan for sure as a kid and I’m pretty sure I had a Sofia dress (the og one) and a toy castle with the characters, not sure if that’s embarrassing to think back on but I was little so I think it passes. I don’t think I’ll jump to rewatching it or anything, but it’s funny looking back on stuff you liked as a kid.

I remember I watched Sofia the First when I was younger and I loved it. I think it was one of the few shows I pirated by myself as a kid (rip my old computer, I bet you’re full of viruses). If I remember correctly, I was watching it while I was still not allowed on programs such as Disney Channel, so that was a plus. I haven’t watched the ending, but I can vividly remember a few episodes, expetially the special one where Sofia became a mermaid, the one where Sofia summoned Olaf and the one where Amber used Sofia’s necklace thing. And I can still remember Sofia’s aunt? who used to be one of my favorite characters. I even watched Elena from Avalor because of Sofia and I also liked it, probably mostly because it showed a culture that felt so foreign to me back then. Once I’ll get my hands on Disney+ (which will come out this summer im Romania, I believe), I might actually watch the finale.

I remember back when me and my sisters got a Sofia the First playset. (i think it was the forest one? I remember it having a swing and looking it up.. that one has a swing lol) we didn't have access to Disney in our house so we didn't watch the show, but we DID have the movie of how she became a princess, how she got the necklace, and all that. That was all we had/knew of Sofia the First and that was fine because I can remember us watching the movie at least twice, even though at that time we were too old (me being the oldest and 12 when it had ended) I'll be honest when I say that now that we have Disney+ that i'll be watching Sofia the First (not just for the memes, but because I want to!)

i'm 16 now, and since the pilot was in 2012, that means it came back when i was FIVE. and i LOVED this show, really big part of my childhood and right up there with doc mcstuffins (which i remember seeing the pilot for air on tv!), my little pony, and winx club haha

finally someone who agrees with me. People dont treat it as good just because its a disney junior show, but its got so much more to offer. THe mystic isles parts were a bit forced in to me good nevertheless. I wish it would have gone for more seasons but hey all good things must come to end rt

When I saw this video I was astonished. I was surprise to see someone else have the same opinion I had on the show, 'cause everytime I listened to a song (All I Need is also my favorite and Wings Of A Dream) the idea that this show is so overlooked and underrated just kept hammering on my head, and it was so sad that no one ever saw how this is far beyond the "childish" content. So yeah, this video was very satisfying.

I love MLP: FIM and Sofia the First. Not every episode from Sofia is good - from the 3rd season the episodes started to be kind of over the top and not as interesting as the older one (that episode with time loop is the worst for me) and Sofia started to be kind of too powerful, but it's still a great show. My favorite part are the characters - they are flesd out, they grow and learn from their mistakes and one can't help but want them to be happy. (My favorite are Amber, Cedric and Hildegard) The humor is great, not too childish and thanks to Cedric and Wormwood there are some funny sacrastic jokes. I've never saw a kid show with step siblings and parents before, so this is another plus. I also appericate that this isn't some kind of musical - just one (usually great) song on episode and the first 2 seasons are dealing with important themes like new family, troubles with friends and so on, so there is my favorite slice of life too.

I loved Sofia when i was a little girl i think i was 5-7 I don't remember much, but i always watch every episode, and i remember i had a dvd of it, and one of the Elena and the Secret of Avalor. and i remember when i was a kid my mom buy me one of the Sofia The First book. Kinda surprised that you never mentioned Gravity Falls, The Owl House or Amphibia among your favourite Disney shows. Nothing wrong with that, go do you. Just because those are usually the more popular choices. Then again, The Owl House is mine, so I might be biased. Also, check out Twisted Wonderland if you have the chance. It seems like something you may genuinely enjoy. It's basically like Ever After High meets Harry Potter. The idea is that you are isekai'd (transported to another world) to a world where some of the characters are like official OCs inspired by Disney characters, but mostly the villains. That's all I will say for now. I recommend the fansubs by Shel_bb over the ones in the game, since the localized version seems more like a transcript to a 4Kids dub while the original was aimed at teens/adults and even has characters saying the f word.

i just finished rewatching this show for the 5th or 6th time and i always forget how wonderful and well written it is. even now, as a senior in high school, i see myself relating to the episodes messages, and i always notice new little details every watch through. for example, the ‘elf situation’ was referenced twice before the season 4 episode in as early as season 1! even though i doubt it was a planned episode that early on or intended it to be just a running gag, i love that they made it a plot point later. and the way that cedric will only ever refer to sofia without the title of princess when he’s letting his guard down or really seeing her as a friend. it would have been so easy to just make him a basic big bag villain with no substance but the writers really went above and beyond. this show is truly phenomenal

I love this show.I remember how sederec wanted the amulet and was not done at all in season 3 just for the 1st episode of season 4 to say oh about that he wins but loses.

Only watched Sofia the First when my little sisters watched it, and I admit it was a good show. Wouldn't watch it myself, but with the kiddos I don't mind ending up watching it if they want to.

I just finished watching through Sofia the First a second time since it came onto Disney Plus. I love. LOVE THIS SHOW! I genuinely enjoyed most of the episodes, seeing the characters grow (especially Sofia, Amber and Cedric), and it has a good story to keep you engaged. It's a well written show and it's not dumbed down despite being for youngins. I appreciate that about this show and it isn't afraid to go dark sometimes too. I enjoy the crap out of this show and probably will watch through it again sometime in the future as well. It's one of my comfort shows. Enchancia felt like a second home to me way back when and this show kind of helped me get through a tough time in my early 20's. So I love this show. I'd recommend it as well. And I can also confirm that Elena of Avalor is also very good too. I'm beginning to watch that through for a second time as well. I don't remember everythigng that happened so some of the episodes will be new again.

I was 4 when this show aired (yes I am that young) and I remember it so well even to this day. I still watch it now and it comforts me, the memories of watching those original airings,the messages the episodes told and the character and plot progression are some things that I will always hold dear to me.

Spoilers ahead, this is your warning. While yes, it did have an ending that wrapped things up, I do have to say I am sad about Wormwood staying evil. I know, not everyone can be redeemed but within the show, it did appear as though Wormwood would eventually become good given the times he somewhat bonded with the other animals, I thought they were going for this & with open communication becoming available between Cedric & Wormwood, they'd be able to actually discuss issues & stuff with each other so I don't know, just disappointed he ended up staying evil in the end. Also, ending felt just a tad rushed, not much but a bit. It was like they were trying to squeeze so much into it & it did work out, I loved the ending but I also felt like there wasn't time to breath like finally the reveal of Sofia's amulet being magical to the family, it's like yeah, this is a thing, ok gotta go! That's just a small nitpick though, I'm a sucker for revelations, especially when it comes to family members so the fact that there wasn't room for all this to be taken in, yeah, just kinda irritated me but very small. All in all, the show is excellent, I did absolutely love it which I didn't think I would. My first exposure to it was probably around 2013, I went to McDonald's in the morning for breakfast since I love their hash browns & it was packed. I take the bus to get around so my only option was to eat inside, no car to retreat to. Only spot left that I could find was at a bar facing towards the TVs & typically in the mornings, you'll see the news playing on the TVs but there were a bunch of kids there gathered near it, watching them & it was on Disney Jr. It was the sleepover episode of Sofia the First so yeah, that was my first impression of the show. To me, it looked like a slightly above average preschool show & I was a young adult at the time so I figured, if I ever have kids, seems like a good show to put on for them. There's a friend I have that I met through a Darkwing Duck group but they're a fan of MLP, actually they helped push me to get into MLP, who ended up obsessing over Sofia about a year after I saw it in the McDonald's, given I can still remember the details from it well enough to know what my friend was talking about has to show the quality of the show is actually better than one would assume. This friend is also around 10 years older than me. I'm 30 now so I was in the early part of my 20's & they were in their 30's during this. I figured this might be another MLP incident where on a surface level, the show looks like it's for little kids but actually, it's super good & then I didn't check it out for years. Kept putting it off but was meaning to. Actually finally watched it because I moved during the pandemic so I know nobody here aside from family, moved to where all of my family moved to over time, there's a pandemic so I can't go out & meet people or do anything fun, so I ended up watching all of Sofia the First, totally worth it & wish I had watched it sooner but hey, gave me something to do. Also, definitely see why my friend likes Cedric so much, he ended up as my favorite character too.

This show was my childhood. i had a doll and the first movie of sofia. i even had castle dollhouse with tiny sofia figures.

I love Sofia the first so much I felt so sad when it ended :'(

The songs do slap. I only watched few episodes when my sister was little, but i did watch a recap of the whole show not long ago.

i liked how some villains got redemptions, even though they were one-time villains. such as princess ivy or miss nettle, we first saw them as villains and then they got punished and we assumed we would never see them again,. luckily disney was able to wrap up their stories and gave them happy endings

I’m not even afraid to say that I genuinely loved this show. The story and lore where very interesting, the characters were all fun and there’s actual character development and I like the fact that Sofia herself didn’t feel like a Mary Sue where we do see she herself can be selfish and in the wrong at times and learn from them like everyone else.

In response to the title of this video: yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is always the first in my favourite shows! :-)

I was around 10 years old when that show first aired where I lived. I absolutely loved it at the time and I made sure to keep track of the time and days a new episode would air so that I could watch it in order. As I got older I eventually dropped it in favor of other shows, school, and new hobbies. However, it holds a special place in my heart and is definitely a quality show for kids.

I LOVED this show as a child it played a big role in my life where even as a TEENAGER I would rewatch the episodes over... and OVER because of how much I loved the storyline and development of the animation and charicters and so much more my favorite episodes were: sofia and the secret of avalor TOP FAVORITE, the mystic isles , This fliegal has landed, the floating palace, ECT. AND SO MANY MORE UGH I WISH I COULD SAY THEM ALL Sofia was one of my favoite charicters and cedric was just... hilarious even ambers development was amazing and amazing just like how MLP : fim played a HUGE ROLE in my life so did sofia the first I loved them both so much as a little child they both meant so much to me honestly even tho I love miraculous ladybug despite its...welllll.....terrible happenings... recentally... I do beileve it will get better I just know it! But I still do love it tho not as much asTHESE TWO SHOWS are the ones most important of my childhood aside from all the other AMAZING shows ive seen as a child these two meant so much more to me... I just cant explain how much these shows have made a huge impact on my childhood and yess i MAYYY still watch them to this day but I CANT HELP it can you blame me?! These shows aremore than just shows to me.... they were my whole childhood.... and still have a HUGE place in my heart and I will miss them both so much.... CURSE RIPOFFS nothing will ever.. replace these precious shows of my childhood.... these shows have a 100% or A+ for me...

I enjoy both Sofia the first and Elena of avalor since i was a Teenager and finish it in my adult age because the last season of Sofia came when I was in my twenties which btw, forever royal, really good event

If you liked Sofia the First, then I highly recommend watching Elena of Avalor. It's just as good, if not better. There is a song every episode just like Sofia, specials getting about 3, the characters change and grow, and it's just a delight to watch.
