After lot of research, i found sp33s and sp36 pro best in all aspects among all, as sp36 pro is out of my budget so i ordered sp33s in 22 bucks on 70 percent sale offer.
Another great video... just got my Sp33 today... best sofirn light I have gotten in a while... it’s a real beast... keep up the great work my friend 🤜🤛
I just ordered a Sofirn SC33 off Amazon with the battery. With free shipping for $38.15 with tax. They had a $24.00 coupon off the $59.99 price. I specifically bought it to use with a spring clamp on the back of my trailers side board. That way I can see backing up at night if I need it. My trailer doesn't have reverse lights and instead of buying reverse lights and wiring some up, I'll just clamp the flashlight on only when I need it. I've watched some of your videos and figured the SC33 was the best at the price I'm getting it for.
Just off the beamshots alone, I'd choose the TS22 to walk on a trail with. The XHP70.2 is just better suited for wider direction illumination. I just wish the LED wasn't so prone to a greenish tint.
I've had my TS22 for about a week now and I love it. And I favor high cri lights in the 4000-5500K range. I got the green body with the XHP70.2 5000K and Wurkkos did an outstanding job with the beam. Side by side with my TS25 with Nichia 519A 5000K I have a difficult time seeing any hint of green in the beam at a 3ft distance from the ceiling. They are identical in tint with the human eye. You would have to measure it to detect any difference. The only way I notice the greenish tint in the corona is if I aim it at a white wall or ceiling and have it closer then 2ft. I don't use my lights to look at white walls or ceilings so I'm not at all bothered by it. Using the TS22 normally, you'll never see it.
I ordered the Sofrin SC33 and only the second highest setting blew a cheap Walmart Ozark 420Lm out. This thing is amazing and what I needed to walk the dog out after midnight in the country woods. Nothing will sneak up on you with this light after dark.
Came here as i was thinking of buying the SC33 again after i released that it has a clip (i find those very useful) i already have the SP33S & i really like it but my biggest downside is the weight & no belt clip, it is definitely quite a heavy light for it's size although the performance is quite amazing. I thought by getting the SC33 since it uses a 21700 it would be lighter and i likes the fact that it's narrower then the SP33S but then i remembered that it automatically locks itself after a few minutes & i don't like that, after you showed that the TS22 is brighter and smaller than both i purchased it instantly 😂 i am still in the look for the perfect EDC for myself, i do have the lumintop GT3 Mini but that doesn't have built-in charging and due to it's smaller size and it being 6500lm it gets hot very fast so while i also really like it it isn't quite perfect Hopefully the TS22 will finally be the light I'm looking for.
i bought the SC33 (waiting for it to arrive) after watching videos say you can turn off auto lock on the newer models, and im thinking maybe i should have got the TS22 instead just cuz it seems noticably more compact and can charge your phone. I'm sure I can come up with some random reasons why the flashlight I bought is the best flashlight lol. Anyway, how u enjoying ur TS22?
@@smotheredchrome I saw that one but judging by the optics it looks like a flood. I wanted something with both like most the 70.3 flashlights with traditional reflectors. I may pick it up later when there's more reviews. I want to see what's up before I pay for it. I heard it's already got problems with the UI.
@@smotheredchrome The D1k has several choices for LED. It's basically a mini thrower. Just slightly bigger that the D4K in length and the head. I picked up the MAO with warm white button for around $65 directly from Hank.
Hey what's going on my friend! I hope you are doing well! And happy late father's day,..I hope you enjoy yourself and got lots of gifts from your kids! But anyway God bless you and your family we will see you soon my friend enjoy your vacation from RU-vid
BRO THE DL10R WURKKOS is a boost driven xhp70.2 as well.. I was browsing and came across it last week. I have seen one video on it and it’s a damn good light. Can you do a comparison? The drawback is It’s just a rotary knob, so maybe it’s the best light to buy for parents and less technically inclined people.
Good day! I received my Sofirn SC33 today. Is it just me, or does her reflector, in addition to being much more wrinkled, have a matte appearance? It is not as mirror-like as silver, more like polished aluminum in color. So that comparing, side by side with the reflector of the Sofirn SP35T, does the latter seem more mirrored? And looking straight ahead at the SC33 reflector, with it off, can't we see the reflection of the LED so clearly?
@@smotheredchrome That's right, friend! It is exactly the perception we have, as you said, it looks more like crumpled aluminum foil, it doesn't have that aspect of a shiny silver mirror. Not to mention that this flashlight drains the battery very fast. Comparing with SP35T, it only looks brighter while it has full battery, which lasts for a short time. Afterwards, when the SC33 charge indicator led starts flashing green, while the SP35T is still solid green, the difference in light power between the two is insignificant. I believe that in this dispute, the SP35T ends up winning, due to its greater autonomy and similar lighting. Remembering that my SP35T has the XHP50.2 led.
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏 I don't own any of that brand but heard about them, I plan on picking up some other brands and will definitely check them out.
Hi :) Which one is better in your opinion, SC33 or SP33S? It looks like Sp33s is brighter, even though it has less lumens. Best regards from Poland my friend :)
I have the SC33 and TS22, If I had to choose between them (SC33 or SP33S), I would definitely choose the SP33S, the SC33 doesn't reach 5200lm and doesn't sustain the turbo for more than 30 seconds. The TS22 (reaches 5000lm at start-up and sustains more than 1 minute until stepdown) and the SP33S are simply better than the SC33.
@@fariajoao Thanks for the answer. I had a ts22 and I regret selling it. But I needed a flashlight for the bike, not wide beam for a walk. I think SP33S also doesn't reach 5000lm, but about 4300-4400 at most. I care more about which one will last longer in high mode?
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏 Yes I can see what you mean, but there is a somewhat of a difference in newer leds but to the average user it's probably not noticeable. Appreciate you my friend 👍
SP33S has the best temperature management out of the 3 lights in the video. And it holds the turbo for a lot longer than SC33 and TS22 for the cost of being bigger and less pocketable.
@@smotheredchrome I hope so. I found this info from this guy who has a flashlight channel called weerapatkiatdumrong . I think he's from Thailand. He does some really good videos testing outdoors and comparisons.
