It always amazes me how clean and tidy these cooking channels make their products. If I had made this, there'd be whip cream and cake batter everywhere.
Ingredients: 4 eggs 45g milk 40g cooking oil 40g cake flour 12g cocoa powder Squirt of lemon juice (optional) 65g sugar 120g whipping cream 20g condensed milk 1) Preheat your oven to 150°C (350°F) 2) Separate the egg whites from the yolks and put the whites in the fridge. 3) Add the milk and the oil to a bowl and mix them until combined. 4) Sift the flour and cocoa powder into the mix and mix everything together. 5) Add the yolks and mix well. 6) Remove the egg whites from the fridge, add the lemon juice, and whisk until bubbles rise. 7) Gradually whisk in the sugar, adding a third at a time. 8) Keep whipping it on a medium-low setting for 1 minute. 9) Scoop a ladle of the mix into the chocolate batter and mix well. 10) Pour the chocolate batter into the meringue mix and mix it together. 11) Pour it into a lined 25x25cm square baking tin and shake it to level. 12) Bash it on the desk to release any air bubbles. 13) Bake for 40 minutes. 14) Once baked, remove the cake from the pan, remove the paper on the sides and allow it to cool fully. 15) Add the cream and condensed milk to a bowl and whisk them together until it is a thick cream. 16) Carefully flip the cake and remove the paper on the bottom. 17) Flip it back over and cut it in half. 18) Spread the cream over one half of the cake then place the other half on top. 19) Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour. 20) Once refrigerated, cuts the sides off and cut it into sandwich shapes. 21) Enjoy!

I'm normally not too much of a fan of sweets, but I gotta admit this made me really wanna try one! Definitely gonna attempt this recipe, it's super well done!!! It looks so professional.
made it yesterday and everyone loved it! amazing recipe! i had to multiply the ingredients by 1.5 because i have a bigger baking tray but it turned out great (i baked it for 50 mins instead of 40 though)

I love it. As a confectioner it's really satisfying to watch the technical process, knowing that it makes sense. For example, why do you sift the flour and cocoa powder- to get rid of lumps. It won't destroy when you whip the mixture. Why do you take a portion of meringue? To mix the dough with the whipped eggwhite. That way the mixed dough won't destroy the other portion of meringue and their bubbles. It's all about not destroying the bubbles in whipped mixture, that's why you don't use soda or backing powder. It's so called using a physical growth technique. While backing powder is a chemical growth technique. (Not sure if translated correctly lol)
So beautiful and satisfying to watch! If I did not have food allergies, I would definitely make this! For now, I am satisfied watching you cook. Amazing skills! 😍❤️
people say to you when you're young "don't eat too much sweets" and then.. you grow older and realise that you wasted your life listening to those stupid advices...
@@x_x999 when I grew older I realized children and young people need more sweets and energy, its when you keep eating more when you dont need it anymore that it becomes a problem
*Please read this before you make the cake!* Make sure your whipping cream is cold. Whip on a low-med setting and be sure to check every once in a while to see if it's the right consistency. I whipped mine for too long on high speed at room temperature and it separated to become butter and milk 😅 Truly a beginner's mistake lol - Also, I would say cut back on the sugar for the cake. I don't like overly sweet things such as American cupcakes or brownies, but I enjoy the occasional chocolate chip cookies. This cake was a bit sweeter than a chocolate chip cookie imo, so instead of 65g of sugar, maybe do 50g or 55g.
Some people wear capes even in the kitchen! You're a hero and I can't thank you enough because I would probably cry if my poor attempt at baking failed because I believe in the "if I whip it for a longer time it will taste better" supremacy
This cake's recipe is so easy. I even used it to make a birthday 🎂 for my sister and it was so delicious and 😍. I really wish and hope that you can post more videos that includes easy recipes like these.

My favorite way to make pastry cream :) Love how you can hear the sponginess of the cake, and the unique way to cut it. I will make this soon , it looks so easy.
