The ospreys are preparing leave, those who haven't already. Time to start thinking about what special bakes are require for Christmas. I have made my own citrus peel, ready to use in cakes etc.
Can't wait.. We have the Canadian geese that come to us for winter the stay on the marshes right by we're I live.. They fly over in great convoys it's a spectacular sight right over my cottage... I've always wondered how difficult they are to make. If you're looking for an interesting recipe, look up 'melon pan.' If you decide it's not something you want to try, no worries. Just wondered if you've ever tried to make this sort of thing!
