1:45 I don't know if that was a comical setup but I do admit getting a chuckle on the air pop. 😂 Thanks for the video sister... Yours in Christ ❤🙋‍♀️

Hello Gaia, The air pop was entirely accidental. I was trying to look like I knew what I was talking about, safety-wise, and was humbled once again in a very funny way. I couldn't resist including that moment. Blessings, Kimberley

Good idea. And also change out your summer air with winter air or you could have a disaster.

They're actually was a thing on the internet about the winter summer air situation along with using nitrogen instead of normal air which normal air is 80% nitrogen anyway so the benefits are negligible. In any case even if there was a slight benefit I can't imagine it would be any for you since you travel from the north to places in California @@GWN_Truckers_Tipsand

Indeed, Gaia, I hadn't heard of it before. Who knew? I guess some mechanics and dealerships made money off it for a while until people caught on... Blessings, Kimberley

Hello Kimberley. Wouldn't it be better to put a quick release coupler connector on one of your air tanks? That way you would have air volume as well as psi.

Hi Rachael, It's a great idea. I'll have to look and see if there would be a place to connect it. Blessings, Kimberley

Not sure if that idea is legal. But on other hand I have done it.

@@GWN_Truckers_Tips I think there is a 1/2 in pipe thread plug on air tank. I use an elbow and a female couple. Had to wrap to keep it clean.Mind you it was easy to get at with no fairings.

Hi Doughboy, I hear you... my truck has fairings nearly to the ground. I'm happy to be able to drain the moisture out of my air tanks each morning. Even that is a bit of a reach. I'm taking a break right now. Maybe I'll try the coupler when I'm back on the road in March. Blessings, Kimberley

Hi Raphael, Many of our trailers have those tubes and keep all eight of their tires inflated evenly and constantly. Give it time, and we'll see it happening with all tires. Blessings, Kimberley

Can you monitor the tire pressure from the cab?
@GWN_Truckers_Tips
@GWN_Truckers_Tips 8 месяцев назад
Hi JC, I wish I could! I can monitor my tractor axle weights on the instrument panel, but sadly, not my air pressure, at least not in this rig. Blessings, Kimberley

Have you ever had a tire blow or loose a cap ?
@GWN_Truckers_Tips
@GWN_Truckers_Tips 8 месяцев назад
Hi Randi, I have had a few blowouts. Once, when I rubbed against a jersey block at a border crossing, another due to a sharp edge on a construction barrier, and once for no apparent reason, a tire exploded on a highway in Los Angeles. At each occasion, I stopped immediately, called a tire service, had the tire replaced, and was soon on my way. Blessings, Kimberley
