also ther is another material that u can try , it is called ferris wax, it is a special wax designed specifically for carving , many jewlery , and modelers use it for designing the masters for rings and models to be cast with metal, but u can achieve very fine details with this material aswell.

Hello! Are you still fishing with this one? This is the only video i found on youtube of anyone making a shudder or wedgetail softbait. Any possibility of revisiting the swimming action clip? It is really hard to judge the action from the short clip at the end there... Best regards Larsey

id like to make a soft body style swimbait very similar to yours and was wondering, what kind of paint did you use ? Might be a stupid question but I've never used an airbrush so I'm not sure did I need to use a different paint since I'm painting soft plastic.
awesome what is the name of the air brush paint you use if you don't mind? going to buy a gun and compressor here soon. and do you apply a clear plastisol coat after the airbrushing or is the paint durable enough? be safe

i did sell a few back when i made this video but i havent made them since, they are kinda difficult to make and also the exta soft plastisol i was using for these is discontinued :(
i just doodle stuff on paper until I'm satisfied with what i ended up doodling there haha. i get inspired by a lot of different things, but i guess mostly it's just nature that inspires me
its called plastisol and there are quite a few different brands of it out there, easiest way i guess would be to just google that and find a distributer in your country.
its OBOmodulan and unfortunately i don't know where to buy it since i just got it from a friend. i think he did mention it was somewhere in germany but that particular place sold only to companies not to private citizens
pike do like to make a number out of softbaits thats for sure, but as a lure maker i dont see any problem with this cos i can always cook up more if i need to.
I sell stuff kinda rarely now, basically i dont do any customer orders anymore rather i tend to make what i feel like and sell those on either on ebay or on facebook groups
