Please ensure that both solar panels are not shadowed by grass and tiles/bricks, as visible @ 5:46. Small patches of shadow tend to make a rather large difference in output, depending on the type/quality of the panel.

Use the external capacity tester for both experiment, use same or similar battery bank, similar charge level

Hello again, Some people on internet trying to use some psu laptop adapters dc power supply and use pwm or mppt charger unit then charge batteries and all of them failed. Somehow power supplies close itself. Some days mppt tried took all current and psu close like shortcircuit protection. But you use samt thing only difference is these Chinese boost converter. Can put server psu directly pwm charger? Or put mppt charger without boost converter.

The controllers protect the batteries/charging, not the solar panel.

Efficient charge controllers are actually designed to protect both the solar panels and the batteries. You don't want to overload your solar panels by not using a good charge controller. This is why I am a strong advocate for using an MPPT charge controller. They may be more expensive, but it is worth it in the long run. 👍😎
