I found it is a lot cheaper to do your solar setup with separate components than buying a all in one solar generator. The solar generators look good and a lot of prepper RU-vid channels push them, but they are expensive.
I got rid of my main 10kwh off grid system and now replaced it all with solar power stations and put a array of bifacial solar panels up to charge them, can now put the power exactly where I need it and rotate them for charging
Not reasonable to use alligator clips in this situation. One slip of the clip and controller could take damage. Better to just wrap bare wires on terminals and add tape if in emergency situation than risk expensive stuff.
