My parents had a 77 Ford F150 Supercab they bought new. It was light tan or beige with 351M and automatic. It had the Explorer package with the white tape stripes and matching "mag type" wheel covers. Dad installed a Kraco AM/FM CB combo with power antenna, and put glasspacks on it the following year when we got our Roadrunner gooseneck travel trailer. It was an enjoyable truck.

Hola. En realidad te digo algo, me quedo mil veces con esta F100 yankee jaja. Escuchar ese v8 no tiene comparación y todavía la F100 Custom era base, porque estaban la Ranger o Lariat que aún eran más lujosas. Sobre lo de la Hilux que mencionás es totalmente cierto hoy día. Ahora de todas formas, la F100 nacional era una derivación de la custom pero con algunas desventajas porque no traían ni dirección hidráulica y menos aire acondicionado y además la v8 tenía el 292 que era un motor en desuso en USA porque fue reemplazado por el 302. Las F100 más evolucionadas fueron las Ranger bicolor que entraron en 1980-81 que eran yankees y traían el v8 302 con palanca al piso y caja de 4 entre otras cosas. Ahora bien, no obstante estas consideraciones, la F100 nacional y más con v8 fue una gran camioneta sin dudas. Un gran saludo.
Ah, esta además tiene la caja larga porque tenías la versión de caja corta y larga y tiene 2 tanques de combustible (se le ven las dos tapas en la caja lado conductor). Esta es tambien una diferencia con las nuestras porque sólo se ofrecieron con caja corta acá y por ende con un sólo tanque. Ahora claro, caja larga y 2 tanques es muy yankee porque nosotros con los problemas en los precios del combustible fue un milagro que las camionetas trajeran motor jajajajaja. Era chico y recuerdo cuando mucha gente le sacaba el v8 a las Ford para colocarle un motor gasolero Perkins 4 que era ruidoso horrible. En fin, historias argentinas jaja, un gran saludo.
If I bought that I would put the original explorer stripes back on it. I had a red 77 explorer with the white stripes, 302 with 3 on the tree that I moved to the floor. One of this "wish I hadn't sold it" trucks.
Those broncos are rare in good condition. We keep trying to find a good one to sell, but they all rusted out. So that's cool your sister just got one. Love how you can remove the top during the summer time.
RUST FREE OREGON CARS !!!! Yeah, it’s nice. It’s actually in really good condition and drives excellent, it only cost her and her fiancé $2,200. The 6.6L engine is camed and has aftermarket headers that come out near the fenders with no exhaust pipes at all. Lol It’s really loud.
Thanks, we've sold quite a few bumpsides 67-72's if you look through my channel. Still working on a few more similar ones. Have one I'm saving for last. It's a 1970, all black. Very solid truck, just needs paint and interior.
