For those who can't read Thai, the sign at the beginning says that whole chicken is 150 Bahts ($4.16 USD), half a chicken is 75 Bahts ($2.13 USD), and that sticky rice is 5 Bahts a pack. Great deal, even greater considering that this shop is in Bangkok. Wow.
I love chicken, I just can’t stand people cooking and handling chicken and not taking the time to remove all the feathers, it makes you think how clean is their food
some of my favoite foods have been eaten on the streets of bangkok.. Moo Ping and Street Pad Thai by a grandma in Sathorn food worth remembering... L.A Rob
I spent 5 days in Bangkok about 15 years ago and i think I had 1 meal in an actual restaurant. The rest were all street food and it was amazing. Even if you can't read the signs, just point to what looks great, hold out some coins in your hand and they'll take what it costs, nothing more. Such a great experience.
Is this saying that people generally cant count??..However, just about everyone running street stalls in Bangkok know how to tell you the price in English!
Give loot, hahaha, beautiful women thailand, simple people, I would love to live there but I got a much better place to live but when I visit, please serve me a delicious meal.
I was thinking the same thing about them needing to cleaning the grills and then I was thinking to myself… Maybe that’s what gives it flavor. My grandmother used to cook on cast-iron pans and she said the more buildup on the pan the better the food tastes. I think it’s called seasoning the pan. Idk. As the video went on and I saw that cutting board, again my fear kicked in. How well do they clean it? Lol if I was there on vacation I would throw caution into the wind and eat that chicken anyway. It looks delicious
The main steam Stuffing recipe for barbecue chicken normally consisted of; garlic, black pepper, coriander root, oyster sauce(little bit), soy sauce plus some lemongrass and red onion, all minced together with little salt

Nervous Nellies should do some research before making judgement on the miraculous natural micro-antibacterial qualities of wood, and especially Tamerind wood which I think these boards are made from. I would trust 1000s of years of use throughout Asia than the chemical laiden toxic mix of man-made boards in western kitchens washed with toxic sanitizers. Try it. Google Wood Anti-baterial Nervous Nellies need to open their brainwashed minds. Its all the modern chemical washing sanitizing crap that is slowly killing us :)
Was just discussing this with the sister today - she's been everywhere - her No. 1 Street food / Real bustle City is Bankok. Her comment was "New York thinks it's It & never stops - Bankok is It & never, ever stops. In comparison, New York is a sleepy town".
Looks delicious! I was sad when flipping some chickens the crispy skin tore off. I almost cried. Anyone know the mixture and herbs/spices they stuff the chicken with?
AND! I always thought I have to use a professional cutting knife to carve my chicken into separate pieces. THE HECK wit it. I am just going to chop it like this dude. 👍👍👍👍👍

Your video documentary was splendid. Thank you! I learn by watching. (I see things, millions of things ... thank you dear host of this channel. In a couple months I will be there good lord willing.) No need for "commentary". I'm a new subscriber. May I treat you to dozens of beers when we meet. Thank you!!!
