Literally sold my Type R for the same reasons. Somebody sat on the hood of mine, I’m assuming to take a quick pic, and scratched my hood & eyebrow above the headlight. The mark looked like it was made from a rivet on somebody’s jeans. And I plan on moving into a place within the year. Hated not having a garage for it too. Carmax took it for $45k, and I paid $38k before tax. Ended up buying a car outright, and not having a payment anymore

There are so many important things in life. Automobiles are not one of them. Relationships, family, experiences and memories are what you Carry throughout you entire life. Granted cool cars do help with the experiences and memories part of ones life.

Good decision. Get the house first and sell the Type R before the value goes down on it.

I been thinking to trade in mine for a MK5 Supra. My FK8 is same color, mint condition in and out, 2019 with 41k miles. I do have Rays wheels and lowering springs which I probably should sell before trade in. I also have to find OEM exhaust for my AWE and reinstall OEM intake. Lazy to do all that.

Finally I come across someone with similar issue about locking out of gears. My civic hatch does that at complete stop where it locks out of 1 or 3 gear. I guess I gotta change trans fluid, hopefully it helps. Thnx

That type R is dope as hell however the goal for your future to purchase a home is a smart financial move. Well done and in the future you can probably purchase another Type R if the budget allows. :). Or maybe a van? Dad life nah I'm saying? lol
