We were soldering some copper flashings for a roof mockup used for slate roof installation and repair training, using some old recycled 20-ounce copper we had lying around. We used Express flux for oxidized metals, as well as an Express Portable Soldering Kit #66440000. We also were using 1/4 pound 50:50 tin/lead solder bars.
