Sure but the whole point of fan content is that it doesn't have to adhere to canon, fan content creators realize that they are not creating something within the original source
I just realized something, and its probably not intentional, but: Technoblade and Wilbur Soot each put there hands up to the sun, and pave their own path in the world, but Tommy is still looking at the book. He's still trying to find his place, and is following in is brothers footsteps.
Goodbye Technoblade. Fierce warrior and soldier. May you rest, and trust you will not be forgotten. We will all miss you dearly, and reminisce in all you have done for us. We thank you. For everything.
My 11 year old is into Minecraft and Technoblade was one of the people he followed for tips. When TankTolMan_ responded to someone about it I asked my son if he followed him and he said yes. I told him he passed as he was sick. He knew he was sick but didn't know he passed and he cried so we watched some of his videos and he was a positive guy. It's nice seeing comments like this.
Techno could honestly be all three. Solider: he was one of if not the best Minecraft pvp players ever Poet: He was an English major and is known for really good monologues in some of his videos: King: The Potato King
@@tobiasburke9495 Hollywood is overrated. you could have the idea crowd funded so that the fans can invest, get quality production with no lobbying, and make money from the investment while having the best film to this day. it's a win win when you think about it
i love how when techno is aging down his smile changes from menacing to more peaceful like as he grew older he lost the peace and life made him more spiteful. and how wilbur as he ages up looks more tired like in the end he just wanted to be done with it all.
"A society that separates it's warriors from it's poets will have it's thinking done by cowards and it's fighting done by fools" - Thucydides Edit: Not sure when the hell I got 300 likes but ill go with it
I love how the child version of Techno actually has a crown in card board, you can see the tape that holds it together, when the shot if from his back side.
the entire day after i found out about technoblade's passing, i had this song stuck in my head while crying. a few days later this shows up in my recommended. i really love this animatic
Keep scrolling if you don’t want a quick story about this amazing animatic 😂 Philza searched, Philza flew far and wide. He was bored and felt dull with taking care of middle aged men that acted like five year olds. He hung in the midst of L’manburg, in his cottage, comfortable as he laid. One time after he took a calming trip around the arid hills and sometimes finding new discoveries, he looked in his bookshelf as he was tired of yelling at Tubbo, Fundy and them. “You’ll melt!” He said to a strange, phantom man that he didn’t know that one day would be his own son. He picked out an old, rusty book with no cover, but a hazel, dusty, plain gilded interior was all there was to comprehend. He flipped through the pages elegantly, glancing at few of the words, he noticed it was unfinished, but the story it told was one to remember to the old, winged god. “Once a boy now man-pig,” it read, “he once wielded a sword and rid his steed, and never looks back. Some would say he is fierce, some would say that though violent, he could be kind, compassionate, and empathetic. Nobody believed them silly rumors, everyone knew in the end that his battalion would forever be stained with blood and a faint scent of flesh.” Philza then flipped the page as he suddenly became intrigued on what this anonymous author began to write. “There was a friend of said murderer, a musician. Who knew that it could work out with them being together, but it did. He’d never seemed abused nor afraid to shout and fight with the intention to kill with his words, much less a sword was when the piglin needed to train him in that area. It was always fun to see them battling together then laugh at the musician’s failures.” The book quickly turned into a calming kind of experience, though it seemed odd that it mentioned that the author was there with them. Philza doesn’t care, his gaze locked onto the book even though he knew Fundy was screaming, “grandpa!” outside of his front door. The winged god stayed quiet though. He sipped a glass of water beside him, laid it down, and readjusted himself to read more. “Then, there was a child whom frightened to grow and read his own diary or story, though tired, he walked and tracked with them, and loved them. The blonde-haired freak, always getting on my nerves and Wilbur’s.” They’d finally said a name. Surely the piglin wasn’t named Wilbur, Philza inquired, it had to be the musician that seemed depressed to his thoughts. “It was hilarious seeing them laughing together, and Technoblade’s silent rebuttals and protests never seemed to go through with the squirmy tall toddler, he still chuckled some, gave him a hard way, and felt as a bigger brother to me and them as well. He was always my favorite,” the author put the last part in italics to show the secret. They must’ve been there, he kept thinking, suddenly believing that he had knew his fellow god-friend. Phil didn’t want to go too in depth with that question though, it was getting late after all. Philza flipped yet another page, seeing half of the text ripped off, he saw half of the authors name, and a small side note that managed to survive. “Brothers, now separated, I’m in the middle of it.” Was what he interpreted. Then, the author stated, “By Ph-“ as Phil finished the word to being his name. Suddenly, Phil closed the book looking up at a massive piglin with sharp tusks, but a gentle grin and the same look the book described. Wilbur, the supposed boy with talents with a musician, looked depressed with his red beanie, but the blonde-haired child pushed him to make him chuckle. Technoblade suddenly jumped up, looking to his horse, Carl with gentle and determined eyes, he said farewell to his family, holding his hand at the sun with his thumb spread out confidently. Wilbur said goodbye to them too, leaving the gremlin with Phil, having his hand up to and walking with a vibrant book in his hand with music notes written everywhere. “Could I see the book?” The kid walked to the old, now damaged winged man. “Sure,” he calmly stated. He gave him the book, as the boy looked carefully inside. He took it with him, walking away with his brothers in a calm manner, not looking up once until he threw the book onto the soft grass, running up to his brothers with pride inside of his heart. Philza snapped back into reality, answering Fundy’s call. Thanks for reading, little long, but whatevs. 4/4
For some reason this was the song that’s been playing in my head since I got the news. I do not really understand why but I can’t think of a better one. May the blood god tackle the kingdom of heaven as he did every other task. We will miss you Alex.
Hear! Hear! I loved those shots the best, and I loved the fact that they used the entire song instead of cutting most of it out for the ‘Soldier, Poet, King’ verses.
Soldier- Can destroy any and everyone he wants Poet- Came up with some of the best lines in the SMP King- Has a crown and seeks anarchy for peace Yeah pretty much I guess
I love how one of the main things I noticed about this animatic is that in the transition scene for Tommy, showing as he grew older just looked like he was slowly shrinking in size, just becoming more of a child that when he started off 😂
I was like "Technoblade's gotta be the king tho ?" And then I heard the lyrics from the soldier : "He will tear your city down." Ah yes, this definitely matches him.
Missed opportunity to have Tommy steal Techno's crown in the end and yell in triumph while Techno chases after him (since he's the King). Woulda been a great wholesome moment
The transition with Techno growing up at 0:22 is so well drawn it really makes me feel like I'm watching someone grow up and into themselves I can't even
Don't mind me, just letting my inner nerd out. (Phil finishes his story, the three leave, laughing. Tubbo comes out, having been in the forest bee-watching) Phil: What is it? Tubbo: If they're all that, Phil, what am I? I don't love fighting, I can't write well, and I don't think I'd be a good leader. (Phil thinks) Phil: Tubbo, even if you never become any of those things, which I doubt very much, you'll still be you. You are the glue that holds your brothers together. So, you probably hate this. This is just my thing. I feel like people too often leave Tubbo out of stuff like this, so... yeah.
I actually really like this. Techno has never been canonized as Philza’s son, but Wilbur has mentioned how he grew up with Techno. I think Tubbo should be included in stuff like this especially since he has actually been “king” unlike Tommy.
I cried the first time I watched this, and I'm crying now. Dream SMP found me at a really dark time, and watching them all muck about, was such a light in the dark. It was hard to see it all end, and it's even harder now that Techno is gone. Gone, but never ever forgotten. Rest easy, Techno. I'll never forget the joy watching all of you brought when I needed it the most.
I hope your in a better spot now. I know they helped me a lot. Never failed to make me laugh. Especially technoblade, his humor was unmatchable. “Technoblade never dies”
@@notperfectbutamazing2513 I am in a much better spot in life! Just finished college, my sister is almost fully recovered from her brain surgery that happened in 2020, my daughter is healthier and on the road to being a 'normal' happy kid. The DreamSMP and Techno, Philza, Tommy, and Wilbur always gave me something to look forward to. I'll never forget any of them for that - especially the Blood God himself. Thanks for replying and checking in
Been bout a year now, ya holding up well? I only found them recently, and, I can say, they would've been such a help back then if I watched them then. However, watching them now certainly helps, even if it has passed.
@@jennfreeman1962 This made me smile! My daughter is now 4 and in daycare! She's learning all kinds of things and really becoming her own little person. It's so awesome. Time flies~ My mental health and physical health have improved a lot and my medical condition has been in remission for over a year and a half now. That's definitely helped me feel more positive, and allowed me to do more things with my family. I still go back and watch the videos from that time and think about where I was when I first watched them, and the things happening in my life. It's good to see the growth in myself! Wishing you all the best 😁
This was supposed to be wholesome I think but it made me so sad because they were once brothers and they grew so apart to the point one is dead, his life passion destroyed, and the other two are bitter enemies. :(
@sayra aziz Tommy did not leave him; he has shown time and time again recently that he still cares for Techno, given that he thought of Techno when taking a piece of the egg and invited him to the hotel. Tommy has also wanted to apologise to Techno, despite his situation being understandable. Tommy had become worse than everyone he hated, resorting to hurting his closest friend throughout the events of the DSMP. The only way he could begin to change is by sticking with the friend that had done so much for him while Techno had admitted to not respecting Tommy until the night before. Unlike Techno, Tommy realizes his actions hurt people no matter how "right" he is. So he plans to work towards reconciliation while Techno views him as nothing but a traitor.
@sayra aziz I'm not excusing his actions; you are misunderstanding me. I have simply said that he is working towards self-improvement and did not "betray" Techno out of distrust or hatred; it was necessary.
@@sameverglade5854 doesnt work in this case, techno attacked first when no one would target him, then he got targetted first after retiring, *but so long as they died it doesnt rly matter*
Headcannon: a few hours after telling the story under the tree, while herding his children back home, they all came across a box, lying on the side of the road. Inside that box was itty little tubbo, sleeping Edit: holy hell y'all, thanks for the 18hundred upvotes, yesterday I had like, a hundred tops 2.4k?! What?!
This animation will always hold a special place in my heart. I put this on along with a bunch of his videos when I heard the news. Rest in peace Techno, our loved soilder
Anyone can become a soldier, a poet, and a king. However, there is a specific man that can raise all three. And that man is Philza Edit: Thanks for the 1k likes!!!!!!! Edit: Make that thanks for the 2k likes Edit: And now 3k likes!
I couldn't help but smile watching this, it's not just a homage to their characters, but to their own friendship as well, it's beautiful and full of heart! I just loved this so much, thank you for this :)
Murdering tyrants as he goes, stealing their crowns when they're cooler than his current crown... I could jusy imagine him sitting crosslegged in a room full of dead guards with the dead king's crown in one hand and his in the other, calmly asking chat which looks cooler
@@alicenotangel1923 tubbo is adopted, but i feel like i a way ranboo can keep care of himself he just needs a bit of supervision, so its like a cousin, yeah.
@@claudiacat4249 oh okay I mean both ranboo, tubbo, and tommy are the kids in the smp although ranboo could most likely be okay by himself their still children and need some supervision and care :) love as well
The soldier would live to see rulers and kings as the true enemy. Meanwhile, the poet and king will be working to build a new nation. But the poet's words became meaningless to the king who he had advised. The soldier would then turn on both the poet and king, the poet would betray the king, and the king would just kinda retire and make a hotel.
*former* english major, cant be the poet since he gave that up *anarchist*, he will not rule over others, but is willing to lead, cant be a ruler/king, only a leader He is a fighter, like im not even gonna try to argue
What's funny is Techno is all three, The King of the Pigmen, The Storyteller, telling the story of Theseus, and The Soldier, battling to end Tyranny in all forms.
Yeah. At first I just heard the lyrics and assumed Technoblade was the king. Then I listened again (because the song was so good!) and saw that Tommy was the king and Techno the soldier.
@@georgie488 here lemme list it to you •He is a soldier for the anarchy and blowing up l'manburg •He protected tommy by hidding him and remember he used words against dream •King- hes a great ruler
I love this, Philza is centuries old in the lore and he has one life bc of it since he's lived so long. But with that time he's been alive he's seen all different types of people, soldiers, poets, and kings. So with his wisdom from being so old he wrote a song and book about the past people he has seen and how he sees the same people but better in Technoblade, Wilber, and Tommy. In the end they became what their mentor said they would be, a soldier, a poet, and a king
Or it could be that phil got the book from Karl as karl’s a time traveler. He can go back in time, giving the book/song to phil, which then inspired the sleepy bois (excluding phil) to become like the book, so the book was like a prophecy for the past sleepy bois and history for the present bois. And maybe during that past, young karl made friends with techno, wilbur and tommy and they became really close, which would explain why karl got the motivation to write the book
Even though he’s no longer with us, Techno will always be there…watching over the friends he made during his RU-vid career - Philza. WilburSoot. TommyInnit. Tubbo. Nihachu. Dream. Long live the legend. Long live the great warrior. Rest In Peace Alex. O7. TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!
I love how Philza is telling a story and he’s like seeing what is going to happen in the future for them. It’s just amazing. Amazing job your art is beautiful Edit: WOW THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR 2K
Technoblade fits all three categories. Definitely a lord, crown and all Definitely a poet, man spits fire concisely and in a way that is cool as hell Definitely a warrior, blood god and all that.
@@gabethesellout5942 my head-canon is techno is the last survivor of the A.E (smp earth) he saw his family (the king and queen of the empire) get stabbed (most likely bc they were kinda hated) and die he grabbed his fathers gown and crown and ran to the forest the Empire got nuked about a week after he left (hence why he is kinda chill about tubbo for defense having nukes bc he knew about them) and he was in canon most likely 13 or so then he ran into Philz’a when 14(?) Philza had basically adopted techno when Wilbur was around technos age (maybe Wilbur suffered a accident causing him to lose memory) That’s just a theory a gammeee theory
i love this sort of thing, and as everyone is writing their opinions in the sea of comments i might as well do the same. soldier: the soldier is strong in battle, and capable of destroying countries with his skills, yet must also be somewhat lawful. the only sleepy boi (excluding Phil) this could truly fit is techno, as his skills have literally torn down cities and decimated armies, and has always stuck to the same set of rules: to oppose tyranny. Wilbur is more of a strategist and scribe than warrior while Tommy is on the lower side of fighting ability. poet: the poet must be strong with their words and capable of slaying their opponents with their speech. this one is undoubtedly Wilbur as that is his main thing. he has written songs, speeches, laws, and an entire anthem. he is persuasive enough to cause Phil to kill him with nothing but his words, thereby fulfilling the 'capable of killing with his words' part of the requirements. while it could be techno as he has shown himself to be eloquent as well, and has repeatedly won arguments in and out of combat, even if it doesn't cause change. The problem with that however, is that this is not what he is known for, and he has never killed with his tongue. to put it another way, he has a level 63 speech ability, but a 100 swordsmanship, whereas speech is Wilburs main ability. Tommy could never be the poet as he has proven himself to be somewhat childish (the character, not the person) in his speech, often looping back around to state the same thing even if it was proven wrong and ever really gave a speech. king: this one is the most up for grabs, as all of them have a legitimate claim to it. "a king should be able to inspire and care for people, rally troops in battle and settle disputes with the least possible bloodshed." technoblade: Techo's claim for kingship are his abilities to lead , bring out the best in his team and bring much needed supplies. he has proven himself capable of leading assaults multiple times, such as during the war against schlatt when he devised a way to attack the people in the cobblestone monolith and in the doomsday war when he made the majority of the plan after being given a time limit and a rough outline by dream. he has also proven himself charismatic, as seen though all he has done to campaign against it was destroy their homes, he continues to gain more and more support from former l'manbergians, and many friends. he has also proven himself capable of providing food, comfort ad equipment to everyone he cares about, as his farms fed everyone in the cavern, and later he continued to feed his friends luxurious foods, and he has also given many people on the server netherite armor, much of which is still being used to this day by his enemies and friends alike. Wilbur soot: wilburs clam is his ability to gather and lead people, he is the one who first started l'manberg and though his charisma managed to create a entire city. after being exiled he also cheered Tommy up, and made powerful new friends very quickly to fight manberg. even after becoming a depressed ghost he still manages to fix other peoples problems and while he no longer leads, he does still subtlety steer the way politics go. Tommy: Tommy is a bit special in this regard, as he has proven himself incompetent toward leading, doesn't have much charisma, and is so bad at providing for even himself he has been likened to a raccoon, yet he still manages to draw people in with his ideals. time very shortly, helped Wilbur build the cavern revolutionaries, raised everyones mood, and proven to usually take center stage. even when he has power, he still doesn't let it corrupt him, which is a very rare and amazig abiliy. it is the reason he should be the king. he is charming (yet annoying), brave (yet cowardly), fair (yet greedy), average in strength and looks, loyal and uncorruptible.
I know this was supposed to be a cute animation, it is, it really is. But I’m still crying because I never had family love like this, and it hurts so bad. I never really had a good bond with them. I’m crying so hard and it’s my father’s birthday. I love my family, I truly do, but I just wished they were a bit kinder... still love your animation though!! It’s truly amazing!!! ❤️❤️
i know how it feels, you're not alone, it leaves scars. at least we can find this kind of family love with the people we meet, and in my case, the dsmp and it's community :') *sending virtual hugs*
THIS IS AMAZING I CRYINGGGG also: My head cannons from this: - After telling the story under the tree, while going back home, they see a box, lying in the side of the road. Inside that box is Tubbo - Philza got this book from Karls library and the book actually just about them
