What a fantastic act of kindness and appreciation that Brad from Atlanta delivered. These military service families keep us safe and risk their lives so we can live in freedom. God Bless them.
Metrader For someone who HATES our country why come here then? Why watch the television shows? I don't know where you live but I would NEVER come there and treat human beings the way you do. There are nasty people everywhere...I hope/pray you will teach your children better!!
Why do Americans think they're the only ones who faught in WWIi to get the win. Do some fact checking, there were many other countries instrumental in alot of the battles to get wins. Oh just a side note the US killed just as many innocents if not more by Napalm bombing Japan as the Germans did carpet bombing England. Oh and you likely retort Japan bomb Pearl Harbor first, true but they bombed a MILITARY target, not civilians.
*To any Veterans watching:* Thank you. Thank you for putting your life on the line in order to protect our country. I, along many, many, many, *many*, others REALLY appreciate it. God Bless, you have served us well. Wishing you an amazing New Year! :)
I spent a decade in the Army. I run into people here and there that go out of their way to thank me. I am always overwhelmed by the compassion that still exists in this world today. Thank you, Happy Holidays and have a Blessed New Year.
Greetings from the UK. Any man or woman who stands up to defend his or her nation and its people is deserving of out gratitude and admiration. God bless you all for protecting so well.
Scott H well there is this lady in South Africa that needs some medical tests and screenings that she cannot afford at all. . . .been very sick for almost 6 years, cant work, and just want to get better to enjoy her life after too much suffering in life for 55 years. me. . .
Scott H, there are Government Hospitals of which I (for one) had been a patient for four years now and they do ALL the tests in the world FOR FREE down here in South Africa!!!!
Those same goverment hospital almost killed me. Twice. And you get treated like you are not human. I can write a book about what I had to go through there in the 3 years I went there. To this day they have not done the tests required. I need a liver biopsy and a CT scan. They told me "we are not doing it, who is going to pay for it?".
Margie Bauer Margie, you HAVE rights believe it or not....and you CAN complain to the hospital heads! If they don't listen you go to the Medical and Dental Council. But don't you dare give up! Become a fighter not a loser! You can report ANY Medical professional in any environment who sit with an attitude and they can loose their practice number Government Hospital or not!! Their oath (and look what I just found online!!!) USE IT MY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck...........NEVER GIVE IN AND NEVER GIVE UP!!!! www.nameandshame.biz/Medical.htm
November 16, 2016 I almost lost it, when I thought the wife was going to cry. Like her, I too wish that I could thank Brad. And Thank You Soldier and your Wife, for your Service. Though it is not shown as often as it should.....We are a Grateful Nation .
ALL....A L L Vets deserve this kind of treatment. In my not so humble opinion war time Vets should never want for anything. I'm not saying they should be driving BMW's but they should never be homeless, without transportation, without good medical and psychological care!
i 100% agree. They should also never have to pay taxes. All the tax they would ever pay should be considered paid in full for risking their own blood. Because in the blood there is life and life is something that should be put above all things.
Especially since they get paid diddly and a sport athelete who cannot even put there hand over their heart or get one one knee at the national anthem gets paid 30 mil for not even risking his life like these soldiers do. Brad, I love what you did and it is nice to know that there are patriots still out there.
What a great story. God bless you Brad!! And God bless our hard-working U.S. soldiers. To all our military, thank you for your service, especially when you are away from your spouses and your children ❤️🇺🇸❤️. I for one appreciate you all!
It's good to know service men and woman are getting Treated with respect. When I returned home Fourty some odd years ago things were different.THANK YOU BRAD!!
coydog caller I want to thank you for your service! You have my upmost RESPECT! When my Dad (USMC) walked off that airplane after serving 2 tours in Vietnam, he wasn't met with cheers & respect instead he was met with an undeniable feeling that he did something wrong & should be ashamed. I hope whoever reads this remembers that these brave men & women don't go around asking or looking for respect (they'll defend your rights either way) but it's OUR responsibility as citizens to give & show them that RESPECT no matter what!! God bless you, my Dad & all the men & women who serve to protect our country!!
Pam Semones Thank you for saying thank you specifically to this military wife for *her* sacrifice and courage while her husband is in the US military: The families get even less acknowledgment and appreciation than our service members do, if you can imagine that. Thank you to the kids who sacrifice seeing and being with their service member parent(s) ~ I deeply appreciate your sacrifice that you have no choice in making. I hope you can be proud of your parents for whatever part they play in the military. Please believe and know there are people who would hug you and thank you for your sacrifice!
Our Men and Women of the Military need to know just how much they truly mean to us for what they do and what they have to sacrifice to do it in order for us to stay safe..Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen for ALL that you have done for us..
There should be more of this. I was in the army during desert storm and at that time nobody gave a damn for soldiers. Nobody ever thanked us for our service. Its good to see some people actually appreciate the gift their country has provided them and try to reciprocate.
El Guapo thank you for your service and I thank god for bringing you back to loved ones and everyone else who serves that comes home.... may you all have a Merry Christmas
I know, our veteran's are treated so badly... Each of you risk your lives to save this country and people... We should be welcoming you home with medals and a red carpet...
Thank you for your service. I am so sorry that only 4 or 5 clapped out of those 75 people. That is so pathetic and those that recognize this, you are pathetic for not appreciating this man.
We can change this world , BRING THEM ALL HOME! Let's stop the fighting, bleeding ,crying, and dying..the world is tired of the hate...let's come together , love each other, help each other, be community! We the people can love each other and stop the war machine. Blessings to your families and God Speed! Stay SAFE!
Donna Riggs..... This is truly inspiring and anyone who didn't get at least a lump has no heart, but your wish will never come true, I was a British soldier and served on active duty some year ago, I did what I was trained to do and what was my duty , I achieved the goals set so that fellow soldiers would be safe, I took many lives in the name of freedom and democracy. It was not freedom or democracy I fought for, what my friends were killed for, it was money and power instigated by greed, man is naturally self destructive and as men we will never be equals.
here is my clapping for you even though I was not there . 5/6 out of seventy five they all should had stood up and clapped. God bless you Brad for for what you did and restored people's faith. be safe.
Many would benefit from knowing a military family, to understand a side of America lacking from most avenues of media who gloss over their importance. Brad understands. As retired military I thank you for this act of kindness. What most of us needed in our time in service was sincere respect and appreciation. Thank you Brad!
First thank you soldier for your service I think you soldier wife for all you do when he is not by your side and most of all thank you Brad the world needs a little more random kindness for people like you there is karma
What a lovely show of appreciation from Brad to a great family. Sometimes words cannot express our gratitude to these men and women risking their lives so that we are safer in our lives. Thank you all.
I've heard people put down the military. I have been in the military, now in Civil Service I work with them on a daily basis. Most people have no clue what sacrifices our military members make in terms of personal freedoms and raising families that they have to make to keep us safe. Padding some corporate executives bottom line is not what we sign on for. We sign on to protect the freedoms our citizens have enjoyed. I'm glad someone chose to show their appreciation.
A great story and positive morale booster. There are lots of Brads out there, but rarely get acknowleged...often they prefer it that way, but they do make a difference. We can all see how much this soldier and his family appreciated the gesture...and I'm sure they will pay it forward in the future. Welcome home and thank you for your service. A tired old vet.
Brad, God has already blessed you with a great soul and giving heart. Many thanks for helping to restore our faith in human kindness. I've had 2 of MY sons in war zones MULTIPLE times, and will NEVER fail to emulate your appreciation of our service men AND women whenever I encounter them. May God continue to bless you and yours.
I needed a good dose of "happy" this morning, and this video gave me just that. A big Thank You to the military family, and the same to "Brad", where ever he may be. I'm really hoping he sees this for himself.
Thank you Brad I always want to do that but never have a chance. service man are most important people in our country, they are brave, committed, dedicated for us. They give up their life to defend our freedom. I have lots of love and respec for them.
So there are still good hearted people in this world! I would have done the same thing.... Considering that my father was a Vietnam Veteran who passed away 2 years ago next month! He was air born... Army Special Forces.... I only knew him for 3 years of my entire life though....
Damn. That's a bitter pill kiddo. As a Viet Vet myself, I guess you're about the same age as my sons. Please know that there are MANY Americans out here, service related or not, that support you and appreciate the sacrifices you and your family have endured. Just knowing that you would have done the same thing, while still healing from the loss of your father, says a LOT about the great job your parents did in raising you. It may not mean much coming from some anonymous stranger on the internet but, I'm damn proud of you.
singleman jimbo ...I didn't do anything.....My real father never raised me because my mother is a bitch and I learned by watching her of what NOT to do in life! My mother wasn't a "bad" parent, but she wasn't the best either! She kept me away from my real father all my life....up til I turned 38, then I decided to find him on facebook....met him.....and moved in with him a year later! From what I knew about him, he was a good man with a bad temper! Lol...Hence where I get mine! Lol....I always knew about him, but never met him til about 5 years ago....I felt like I knew him my whole entire life at that point! I do miss him dearly and I know he is watching over me and protecting me from all the bad around here! And I appreciate that you are proud of me.....I don't get that a lot these days....in fact, I don't ever remember my mom and step dad ever telling me that they were proud of me! I am still pissed at my mother for keeping him from me! She lives in Oklahoma and I now live in California with my new husband and I am sooooo glad I got out of Oklahoma when I did! Thank you for your services by the way.....It's nice to know that what you and many others have done for this Country......deserve a hell of a lot better treatment than what you guys are receiving right now! I wish there was more that I can do to help out the Veteran's!
Mo. I'm very sorry for your loss! Your dad was a hero! Be very proud of him, I am! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year! My dad served in Korea and Vietnam! God bless you and your family!
a simple act of kindness, im sure anyone reading this at sometime will have had a conversation like -: "what would you do if you won the lottery ?", for me, i would feel so blessed that i would do similar acts of kindness, what joy it would bring, what contentment, well done Brad
God Bless you Brad for doing that for a most deserving family. Thank you for your service to our country. I don't remember hearing the name of the family. But thank you and God bless all of you. When a soldier is deployed pray Psalm 91 over them, make a copy for them to carry with them and on them. There is a book by Peggy Joyce Ruth that is about Psalm 91 protection. She also has a copy for Military they need to have a copy and read it.
Great gesture Brad. And thank u n your family for your sacrifices. Thank u for serving our country!!! I live close to Ft. Bragg and every time I see someone in uniform I thank them for their service. We are lucky to have u.
i never say i like the military . the word is i love the military.and thanks to all that severed. military, police ,fire fighters they give up so much of there life that we may have a better one hats off to all
it's so nice to what some people do for others and for the people serving their country. I hope more people help others because they don't have to do it they want to be kind and friendly so keep up.☆
I always shake soldiers hands & thank them every time I see them! It's unbelievable how much they appreciate that! Thank you brad for what you did for this family! Wow !!
as a former paratrooper I would like to thank you Brad you are a true patriot in my opinion godspeed and may you have a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year
Thank you Brad for showing such thoughtfulness to this awsome family. It warms the heart to know someone out there cares about our military personnel. God bless you. :)
