SOLE E20 Elliptical Assembly

We bought this SOLE E20 Elliptical machine at Dick's Sporting Goods. It was $848. Kevin thought with the size of the box that it would be built for the most part, however there was just as much assembly with this machine as there was with my previous two elliptical machines.

Thanks... I purchased the Sole E25, and yeah, the instructions have tiny diagrams where this goes and that goes... so your video, even though it was for the E20, was exactly the same procedure... you gave me a boost of confidence to tackle this HUGE box. It took me 4 hours; I assembled mine alone. Now I just have to figure out the console. Also, I have a chest heart rate band... straps around my chest... and its fairly accurate.

Great video. Just assembled mine last night alone. Took about 2 hours, but this video was a huge help. Easier to follow than the "4 steps". Thank you for posting!

wow, that is an expensive machine! i purchased a bike/eliptical for much less a yr ago, but i realize its not the quality of what you bought. my prayer and hope is that i can afford to buy a plug in treadmill soon.... i have a disability which prevents me from taking long walks etc so a treadmill will really help me out...ive noticed since menopause has hit that even when i eat much fewer calories i still have been gaining weight...and i do exercise yet i need a treadmill so i can do more walking inside my home for medical reasons....thankyou for sharing this vid.....

I LOVED walking on my treadmill. Very often I would take a stroll and watch TV, not going fast. It is nice to be able to walk indoors where it is temperature controlled and out of the rain and snow.

Thank you for asking! I am VERY happy with this model. I am on it every day for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I have not missed a day since I bought it. Kevin has added lube to it because it squeaked just a little, but after he added the lube, it was perfect. This machine does not wobble and as long as I stay above a rate of 4.2 it keeps my heart rate perfectly. I have no complains at all. It makes NO noise at all. In the past I have had several people ask me about noise because they live in apartments. This would be the machine to get if you are worried about noise. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a dependable elliptical.

Tami Dunn Thank you so much for replying! My wife and I looked at this model at Dick's and thought it seemed quite good. How fast is 4.2 and are you using the heart rate from the hand grips or did you get a heart rate strap? I was looking through peoples reviews at sears and a number of people had the rollers jump the track but you don't seem to have had that problem at all. Does that even seem possible to you? I planned to go back to the store and look at the roller design a bit.

Thanks for the video. Wife and I are looking into getting this or the E25, but I'm hesitant spending between $800 and $1000 on something and putting it together myself. Since you uploaded this in January, how is it operating now? Could you put up another video running on it so we can hear if it's as quiet as some of the reviewers at Dicks dot-com says it is?

Joseph Mitchell Mine is SUPER quiet... I got it for 1000 off, on Amazon... so... you just have to look out for the sales.. and SOLE is a great company, with great reviews, and excellent warranty. Okay, enough of me... I'm going to work out.

Do not buy!!! I bought this E20 Elliptical and the right foot pedal kept coming off the track. I called SOLE for warrant service and they are just horrible to talk to. Now I have a new elliptical i can't use.
