Love nissan 720 body style trucks,but a little advice to nissan lovers,on my 1985 build square body,i run 35-15-50-15 super swampers on 15×14 wide bart wheels by installing and reindexing 1983 thicker 2wd torsion bars from salvage yard with new factory bolts & nuts, installed new ball joints in front end & and installed custom longer bolts with spacers on front upper a arms, then realigned front end ,also installed 3 inch body lift and 4 inch blocks& u bolts in rear , then trimmed rear of front fender area heavily and front massaged floorboard with a big hammer , i wheeled this combo HARD! For 5 years, front diff clearance was extreme! Way better than a solid axle by 12 to 15 inches! All stock driveline, also another good tip is to remove rear driveshaft and put slip joint at rear, u will immediately notice a smother ride with less vibration, keep slip joint greased and reclean after heavy mudding, with this combo i could run up to 17-40 -15 monster mudders on front and 18.5-44-15 monster mudder on rear just for purpose of seeing if they would fit and see how it would pull in mud, truck would float with 35,s in deep mud and water and would really float with bigger tires in less water, loved my nissan!!
Hey dude if u don't mind me asking how did u do ur lift? Body lift? Suspension lift? Was it easy to do? I have a 82 datsun 720 that I want to left abt 3 inches like urs but don't know how. Also same for the front drive shaft as while
What year did u say your front solid axle came off of??? Is it gonna give u problems cause of the front drive shaft going to da front axle is going in an angle???
The front axle is off of a 85 toyota pick up and not not really me and my friend have same trucks and same set up and no big problems I mean it's kinda annoying for me with the square tubing but my friend did his drive line better with a round drive line and his is smoother I have gone off roading all the time and never had a problem with the drive line always been able to flex pretty good
