Thanks for your interest. Same question from another friend! My answer is: Sorry to say that, I can't explain the value with equation. But, I can tell you, when you will go to create a helix using a circle of 79.5mm and height of 16.75mm, then solidworks will get the value automatically, i.e. Revolution and pitch 0.029 and 577.59 respectively. If you find the mathematical explanation of this problem, please don't forgot to share with us.
