This scene is awesome. It's Ray Park again.. with Sam Witwer having his voice dubbed over him. Just like in the last season of Clone Wars.

I really want a full maul movie. He's the most "likeable" of all the sith. Probably cause he keeps coming back strong no matter how much life shits on him

A lot of people haven't watched the Clone Wars and it shows.

Literally the only scene of the movie that genuinely had me excited.

I know a lot of people don’t like his inclusion in the movie, but I have such tremendous respect for Sam Witwer and Ray Park that I just love it so much.

I know they felt like they had to show the duel bladed lightsaber to confirm that it was Maul, but it's really hilarious watching someone threaten someone else with a lightsaber over Skype.

When I first saw this in theaters, I recognized the voice and then when I saw I smiled ear to ear. Maul is a personal favorite of mine and I love how his story played out

Imagine being such a great villain that your mere existence is a plot twist. TWICE.

This moment was perfect regardless of whether you're a casual fan that only watches the movies or a fan who's invested in the expanded universe. If you're a casual fan, you get the shocking plot twist that Maul is alive somehow and running the strings, while the dedicated fans get one of the best tie-ins to the rest of the canon in any of the movies or shows.

This was the Vader hallway scene for this movie, for me.

You can practically hear the lines now "Oh, you have purpose here. You are protecting something. Noooooooo, someone"

People complain about Maul turning the lightsaber on being only fanservice. But, I see it as, “Kira, listen here. This blade? Is a reminder that if you try and pull anything like that little traitor, I *will* be right there to plunge this blade into you. Now, come to me.”

There's a reason this is being recommended in March 2022, calling it now.

I use to buy into the notion that this was put as fan service but after watching CW s7 and learning about his crime history, then proceeding to actually watch the movie, this was genius and I actually found this movie to be quite great. Never taking in what critics say again.

Unbelievably he survived those injuries somehow keeping himself alive through the dark side of the force by using his anger & hatred. After falling down the shaft to a garbage level on Naboo & presumed dead he was dumped in with the rest and unknowingly taken to the world of Lotho Minor where his brother Savage Opress finds him some 11 years later. Totally insane & barley recognizable he had made a makeshift multi leg apparatus out of the scrap on the planet to walk. Savage brought him back to Dathomir where he was taken to the Nightsister altar. His Mother, Mother Talzin then healed his mind and transformed his walking apparatus into more practical prosthetics. He then began to plot his revenge against Obi Wan for the suffering he had caused him,killing Obi Wans secret love interest the Dutchess of Mandalore Satine Kryze while then taking control of Mandalore & one of its paramilitary groups Death Watch.All of that is clone wars(21-19BBY).This is between clone wars and Rebels (about 10 BBY or halfway between Revenge of the Sith & A New Hope) where he later shows up once more for his final arc. Here is the time between Clone Wars & The Galactic Civil War (Original Trilogy). He had lived as the Boss of the Crimson Dawn/Shadow collective crime syndicate after escaping Order 66 with Ahsoka Tano before leaving her behind on the Venator class Star destroyer that had left Mandalore with him in captivity after the Siege of the planet. If you look at his lower limbs here you can see they’re his newer cybernetic prosthetics.

I'm a huge fan of Darth Maul

Imagine if Disney had the plan of Lucas to use Maul as the villain. With Ray Park's physique and Sam Witwer's voice, it would have been phenomenal.

Wow they used the voice actor Sam Witwer who did Darth Maul for Clone Wars and Rebels. That was cool.

The double team of Ray Park and Sam Witwer just are Maul there’s no doubt that both are awesome dudes irl but when both perform and voice the character it just becomes legendary

Four years later and still wishing for a Darth Maul tv show or Star Wars Story

It’s just wonderful how he turns on his lightsaber for no reason.

He clearly knows that she lied to him so that's why he threatened her with the force and his lightsaber and saying they are going to be working closely from now on. Meaning he doesn't trust her anymore

I love her expression at the end of the transmission. She seems she's already regretting her decision of taking Dryden's place. Too bad this movie underperformed. I would have loved a sequel, especially now that Maul is getting more development in The Clone Wars.

This is the best scene from this movie by far

Its a nice touch that duel of fates play while showing him.
