That they allow Rian Johnson to continue to run his mouth off seems to suggest otherwise of Kathy needing the jerk her toy boy's leash a bit tighter like she did to Mark Hammel - that individual needs reigning in before he does any more damage to the brand.

I just watched this, and from a 9 year old that stood on line in 1977 and in the snow to watch A New Hope this was a fantastic prequel I couldn't have been more pleased. Great acting and storyline. Two thumbs up 👍👍.
SomeRandomGuy don’t worry my dad’s friend works at a movie theater and he said that it’s just to fool people, and the real title is Buncho: A Star Wars Story, so it will actually make complete sense because the movie actually has a bunch of people in it
I liked and enjoyed Solo: A Star Wars Story. And I recommend everyone to either go see it, or buy the DVD. I will never listen to a main stream critic again. Because of them I miss out on seeing a great and entertaining Star Wars movie. They talked so negative about the movie that I believed that the movie was not a good movie. After seeing it on Netflix, I greatly enjoyed the movie and I would have enjoyed it more on the big screen. I see that I can not trust film critic anymore, because I see that they are either more political, or they did not get enough money to speak good about this film. They need to learn to not to destroy things, and people careers, because they just don't remember to how to have fun and tell the truth about a movie that has real entertainment value for everyone and their fans. To make a long story short, They love telling a lie for money, than they do enjoy telling the truth.
I personally love this movie, I watched this so many times..I really don't understand why this movie did not earn well..those critics should be ashamed of themselves!
Wow this trailer was so much better than the teaser...still not sure about the new Han's acting skills, _REALLY_ excited for more Chewy and young lando! And most importantly, those _JUICY_ FALCON DOGFIGHTS!
Yes! Glover is going to be so good in this film and Harrelson is new to the Star Wars universe! He's hilarious! really excited to see his character in this
Michael Jae it was said the actor is good but Ron wanted him to impersonate Harrison ford so they got him an acting coach for that, but otherwise he's a good actor

Probably do to the fact it was after TLJ, I remember people review bombing this movie to protest disney and to protest "sjw propaganda" it was really sad to see a good movie be associated with hate
I might know that but when i take my 5 year old to watch this she wont. Yeah i could show her the movies in order, but i want her to experience her first SW movie in the theater. Plus if she doesn't like SW i still have time to disown her.
4 years later and this movie not only holds up, but it's one of the best Star Wars projects out there. This movie is WILDLY underrated. #MakeSolo2Happen
Buzz LightBeer lol. This shows u know very little. Disney does NOT make any of the Star Wars, or marvel movies. Lucasfilm makes SW. same people who made the OT and PT. Disney only markets and distributes the film
New solo looks and sounds like a PlayStation twitch kid. Harrison Ford looks and sounds like a real man who has to work hard for a living. Which he did. ... Disney chose a nasal sounding boy for solo. George Lucas chose a real man for solo.

I like how the "A Star Wars Story" movies have different feels and tones to them. Rogue One had a war movie vibe and Solo is clearly going for the western feel. Like Unforgiven with Star Wars characters.
Its really not going for a western lol the only western-y element is the standoff. The color palette is identical to rogue One so one thing I'd say is that they look alike
Gabriel Arredondo That's one thing I like about the Star Wars Stories rather than the new trilogy. I don't hate it but I definitely like this exploration of story and style the spinoffs have rather than being stuck in the classic star wars tone.
Wait....THERE'S PEOPLE THAT HATED THIS MOVIE? HOW? It was so amazing! Solo's Imperial adventures, the Kessel Run, etc. Not only that, but I love the *theme* of this movie: Solo. Be solo, don't trust ANYONE, no matter how long you've known them. All of that is evident towards the end of the film, and I'm satisfied with how it ended. This felt different than the other films because this was more of a space pirate movie, but I'm not complaining. 9/10
I'm not a star wars fanatic that knows everything about the star wars universe, but I'm a big fan of sci-fi adventure movies. The fight scenes, the blasters, the missions, all of it I loved. It's definitely one of my fav movies.
I respect your opinion but there’s many reasons to hate her. Like her voice is so annoying. And who cares about droid rights? Why does Lando have feelings for her? SHE’S A DROID! Honestly we didn’t need another droid.

One of the greatest achievements of the original trilogy was to make all of this impossible technology look decrepit in situ. I remember being impressed with that fact about A New Hope when I saw it in the theaters at age seven, and I've never changed my mind.
kirschakos but it's not suspense if you already know that in reality the situation poses no real danger to the character. Now I am not saying this ruins the movie but if they replaced Chewbacca with Emilia Clarke or Woody Harrelson's character it would be a better scene.
Only true star wars fans enjoyed and appreciated this movie, although there were some parts that could have been better. And for people criticizing the actors, theres really nothing they can do, they can just bring back Harrison Ford into this role. Truly an underrated film.

I have also seen many who want this movie say Ewan is the real Obi-Wan, not Alec Guiness and many preferred the prequels over the original trilogy. Obi Wan has been in 6 movies, a 120 episode cartoon series, a cartoon movie. His story/backstory has been told more than any other character in the entire franchise except Anakin/Vader. Lucas said for years that Obi-Wan's life was uneventual from Revenge of the Sith to A New Hope because he was living as a hermit, he was in hiding and didn't want to bring attention to himself and Luke. So either it's a 2 1/2 movie of him sitting in a cave having random encounters with Jawas and Tusken Raider or it pretty much ruins that entire timeline because why/how could he have run ins with the Empire on a planet they are not supposed to know where he is at and that he is supposed to have never left. His sole purpose of being there is so Vader doesn't know where he is or that Luke is alive. I do know a few books gave him some adventures during that time living there but makes no sense a guy who is in hiding to have an exciting story worth a 2 1/2 hr movie. To most living there Old Ben is a old hermit, a myth.

I don't no why people don't like this movie. I thought it was great. Tons of action, tied up loose ends about how Hon met Chewy and got the Falcon. Seen it three times. Great movie.
The last jedi, force awakens really shed a dark shadow on this movie. Despite the controversy about the sequels, i can say SOLO MOVIE and ROGUE ONE are my favourites
