This video is from a trip in late July to Alta Meadow via the Lakes/Panther Gap/Alta Trail. I have an unfortunate injury in this video that made me alter my plans even though I was being stubborn. All in all it was still a great trip and I got to see some beautiful views. ~18 Miles round trip

Great video. It's awesome you can ID all those plants. That sucks about your knee. Some of the sections looked pretty sketch. Careful out there. The views look amazing. I want to find a place to go in the Sequoias for a short trip.

@@NickInNature Awesome thanks. It looks like a bit further there's Pear Lake too. Did you pick up the permit at the Lodgepole Visitor Center? It's about a 4 1/2 - 5 hour drive for me. I might be able to fit an overnight trip.
